Here's the thing....we have no ****ing idea who the Harpy is. The character it probably is in the books has been cut and in the show Hizdhar's dead so that's the only serious suspect gone...

The Harpy is BARRISTAN

that's right people... He's alive.

Daario is King of the Harpies

That's my guess as well.

My left field wild guess is Xaro Xhoan Daxos leading the Harpies to get revenge on Dany for locking him in a vault and ransacking Qarth.

I thought it was going to be Daario, too... But its obviously not.. why would he go looking for Dany now?

Hizdarh barely even got stabbed but i guess hes dead.

Watch D&D pull some weird **** and make it Varys or something lol

All a ploy by Varys to test Dany and push her into setting sail for Westeros?

Oh i don't know. It's too late for the Blackfyre angle... I was just messing around... But wouldn't put it passed D&D to do that.

Going to look for her with Jorah is the perfect opportunity to kill or kidnap her. Think about it. She will be outside the city on her own, away from her Unsullied, and she isn't a fighter. Daario didnt count on Jorah tagging along, but he can take care of him.

And since he would be outside the city with no witnesses he could come back to Mereen and make up any story he wanted to or he could easily get away.

I like this theory tbh since we've had Blackfyres, Graces, Cleon(s), Queen ****e and the Shavepate cut.

Well Varys is a Blackfyre or at the very least a Blackfyre supporter in the books. That ultimately makes the character an antagonist to Dany's cause, so either he's been massively made into a good guy in the adaptation in much the way they made Ellaria and Stannis into more villainous characters, or he's treacherous within Dany's camp and has his own game going.

I get the idea he's been simplified into a good guy, as you say.

It'll be interesting, because if he does his scene from the end of ADWD then he'd be getting murkier. The character in the books is basically as bad as Littlefinger, so whether or not they pull the trigger on that is curious

I see what you mean... but you'd think he'd simply send his men out to find and kill her... they are already probably thinking shes dead anyway... He would be in charge of Meereen... Grey worm and the unsullied would support him (not knowing he had Dany killed).

I mean its a good twist and I bought into it last season until the end. He could have killed her at any point and gotten away with it. He's helping her the whole time in the pit... there's not much to really go on after that... if that was the moment she was supposed to die, why not reveal himself then?

and all that is BEFORE Drogon .. .so thats not en excuse.

He would have been putting his life at more risk doing that in the pit. There were still Unsullied and Jorah in the pit. Daario probably didn't think the odds of him surviving were in his favor if he killed Dany while in the pit plus he would have been thinking that the Harpies would do it and they would have if Drogon hadn't arrived. So in his mind there would have been no reason to kill her himself. Plus Daario probably wouldn't want to show all his cards all at once. Staying undercover for as long as possible would be the smarter thing to do, and if he can find a way to kill her while maintaining his cover that's just perfect for him.

As for why he wouldn't just send the Harpies, maybe the Harpies aren't dependable trackers or he thinks they will muck it up. Sending them after her while she is trapped in a pit or city is one thing but sending the Harpies after her when she is in the wilderness possibly with a dragon...They just don't seem qualified to get that job done.

Well we shall see... I wonder (if he is the Harpy) how plans will change when he finds out Dany is with the Dothraki.

Whatever his plan is it better be damn good. Harpy or not he's walking into a precarious situation.

That's what a certain poster's parents should've said.

Wait a second guys... Can we stop talking about Dorne? Let's discuss this...

Ok ... Ok....So STANNIS... HAD SEX WITH THAT..... Think about that for a second...Stannis ****ed an old ass lady! Oh...

and...

Gendry lost his virginity to that thing!

Huh... Jon Snow does know some things.

I've gone older.

I wonder if the leak had the previews for ep 2 with it
