They really need to do the Tourney at Harrenhal first and finally show us Rhaegar for this to truly matter. Unless.... they are saving the identity of the father for a future inquiry next season. Arggggh! I can see them doing that to us!

I would be surprised to see Rhaegar this season, then again they more or less kept Beric's return a secret, also the Mad King to an extent. I don't think adult Lyanna will be played by a well known actress so the same will probably apply to Rhaegar. Thus making it easier to do things hush hush.

I just hope that whoever they cast they avoid fan casting, who seem to be obsessed with putting androgynous male models in the role.

I just ran across this snippet while searching for something else. This is an excerpt from an interview with Jonathan Pryce (The High Sparrow/Septon) which was discussed at Winter is Coming a month ago regarding Cersei's impending Trial:

"Everyone is waiting impatiently for Cersei’s trial in the Sept. Literally everybody is going to be there. My protagonist has let his guard down – he is absolutely certain that Cersei will show up (at his request). When the messengers inform him that she hasn’t left her home he still believes that she is going to show up at the trial because in his opinion she should be there.

"Meanwhile, behind his back — and in his closest environment — there is some scheming going on and everybody is plotting against everybody. The tension is gradually building as the huge Sept is filling up with people — High Sparrow is still happy with the turn of events and he is convinced that everything is going according to the plan. He does not suspect that something unpleasant is about to happen…"

Um yeah I think we can guess what that is now! It really would be amazing if the finale involved both a Wildfire explosion and the White Walkers breaching or destroying the Wall! Fire & Ice just as these very elements were evenly juxtaposed in Bran's recent visions!

Besides all the people in the Sept think about all the citizens that will be outside the Sept waiting to hear the outcome of the trial, and the slum houses are around the Sept too. Now imagine the explosion from Blackwater going off in the Sept. Plus, wildfire sticks and burns like napalm on steroids so it's going to be going up into the air and falling all over the city and debris will be blown all over the city. The death toll and devastation is going to be insane.

Absolutely catastrophic! OMG

What an evil ****!

I know, i know... it's the show blah blah... but did it bother anyone else that Edmure had a Frey kid? I mean the massacre started right when they left and he just went to get some ...ahem... Frey pie and didn't realize anything weird? Like the Rains of Castamere playing through the halls, the sounds of thousands of people being murdered, etc etc

If I was with that I'd be talking dirty and grunting so loud, crashing into furniture, I wouldn't hear a nuclear bomb!

That took me by surprise, but it didn't bother me. I always assumed they immediately brought Edmure to the dungeons when the carnage started at the Red Wedding, but I guess they must have been in a sound-proof room when it all went down.

Yea i thought they took him straight to the dungeon, too.

At first, I was thinking Jaime was lying and Edmure would call him out... but nope, he definitely boned Roslyn. Lucky bastard. I'd take a few years imprisonment for that too :o

I'm pretty sure he bed her in the books as well...

Yep he did... he doesn't know anything happened until the next morning... which is fine when the massacre happens in the hall... but the show has an all out massacre all over the castle, outside the walls, everywhere.

I know I am doing what some call my 'BS', but i found it odd :sbr:

They were celebrating loudly and even fighting a bit outside, so perhaps what came after wasn't distinctive especially if he's in a windowless room deep inside which was probably selected beforehand to be away from everything, and he's making some noise himself.

And he was probably drunk.

“We normally get a phone call from Dan and David, the creators of the show,” Dormer explained of the actors who are let go from the show. Off our raised eyebrows at Dormer lumping herself into that group, the actress was quick to shoot her publicist, standing nearby, a look and stress, “My understanding is that there is homage paid that way. . . but that's as far as the ritual goes from my understanding."

Hmmm...Roast Margaery, anyone? Damn! :csad:

Yep... lol... there's a few more roasts as well.

What episode is[BLACKOUT] the burning of king's landing[/BLACKOUT] supposed to occur in?

The “Battle of the Bastards” episode has been heavily submitted by HBO for this year’s Emmys

People need to give it the **** up already.

It's interesting that the Starks have been considered to have a lot of bad luck, but only two Starks have died: Ned and Robb. Cat and Jon both died, but both were revived by the LoL.

The Lannisters, on the other hand, have lost multiple children, as well as Tywin.

The Lannisters havent lost their ancestoral home and been spread across westeros. There is also a Lannister on the throne. And Lady Stoneheart isnt really Cat. Its her reanimated corpse, but what came back is not the Cat that died. So thats hardly a resounding victory for the Starks.

Yeah. I was pretty convinced she was going to be revealed this season. The episodes seemed to suggest it and the plot was going to where she is in the books. However, now that Baric has been revealed to be alive and well, that door seems to be closed. Story wise, Cat has been dead for somewhere between a year and two years, if not longer. If Baric has not yet revived her, well, then what is there to revive? Her body was thrown into a river, meaning she was exposed to the elements, animals, etc. The body would be decomposed beyond the state of that of the zombies we see on The Walking Dead, at this point. Its safe to say Cat is not coming back.

Instead, it seems like the Baric/Hound alliance is going to serve as a composite for Stoneheart.
