Meh. That SH wasn't the closer will never not be a disappointment to me.

And I think that is completely wrong. The chances she won't be involved in the Jon situation is zero imo.

I've never once thought LS would have anything to do with him. She doesn't need to be. Mel is there for that.

Unless Darth is referring to something even farther down the line, post-[BLACKOUT]Jon-resurrection. Because I can't see any reason why LS would have anything to do with Jon's current predicament. Catelyn Stark hated Jon Snow, and resented his entire existence all his life. I can't see why vengeful hate-wraith LS would suddenly develop a soft spot for him.[/BLACKOUT]

Pretty ticked off about the lack of LS.

Ah well. I suppose they're saving her for Brienne's arc next season.

So now that this season has ended how much actual material is there left to adapt? How many seasons can they get out of it?

Non book readers DO NOT go to EW.com! Their home page has a fan art of LS that reveals who she is! If you don't want to be spoiled stay off of EW.com! They need their ass kicked!

Haha, wow. And it's even in their big flipping headline section. They give zero ****s.

Heh, that's nothing new for EW.

Any time a character in a show dies, EW will have a front page article with a picture of the character and headline, "EXCLUSIVE: _____'s thoughts on THAT SCENE," or something similar.

They give very few ****s indeed. ;)

She won't resurrect him. She, along with Bran, will be apart of bringing Jon and Howland Reed together, and revealing the truth. I think the irony is far too rich to not happened. All that anger, all the resentment, and it was all for nothing. Not a damn thing. And Mel won't resurrect Jon. I think Jon will "wake up" on his own, the dragon from stone.

Next season levels the playing field between book readers and show watchers.

With how far along they are in some storylines, we're practically guaranteed stuff from TWOW.

They took down the fan art on the link. But they
replaced the fan art with her at the Red Wedding

I'm still bummed about no [BLACKOUT]Lady Stoneheart. I was 90% sure that she wouldn't be in it after the screener hit a few days ago, but I still held out hope. Alas, there's always next season.
[/BLACKOUT]

That one disappointment aside, this was without a doubt the best finale yet. Benioff and Weiss weren't joking about that. It was one of the best episodes of the season, and the entire series as well. Here are my thoughts:

Jon:

[BLACKOUT]I still would have ended episode 9 with Jon going to see Mance and ended it on that shot of Stannis and Davos riding up, but it is what it is. I'm really excited for this storyline next season. Team Dragonstone FTW! [/BLACKOUT]

Daenerys:

[BLACKOUT]I thought it was interesting that they didn't have Drogon chained up as well, even though he escaped in the books. I guess they want to make his appearance next season that much more dramatic. [/BLACKOUT]

Bran:

[BLACKOUT]Jojen dying caught me off guard, but I didn't really care for the character too much anyway. The stuff with the Three Eyed Raven was pretty much how I imagined it in the book. I can't wait to see where Bran's story goes next, but I have a feeling that he may not be used as much next season.[/BLACKOUT]

Arya/Hound:

[BLACKOUT]That was a gritty fight scene between The Hound and Brienne. I liked the way they consolidated those two plotlines from the book and just had them fight each other. The Hound dying actually made me sad, even though like in the book, it's ambiguous as can be. I don't believe he's truly dead, but it's still going to suck not seeing him around. As for Arya, I was happy she finally got on that boat. It's been a long time coming. Lady Stoneheart's absence aside, that last scene completely blew "Mhysa" out of the water.[/BLACKOUT]

Tyrion:

[BLACKOUT]My favorite part of the episode, and one of my most anticipated moments of the season. I was a little surprised that they cut the whole Tysha thing from Jaime, but I guess at this point Tyrion's had enough anyway and Jaime doesn't need another stain on his reputation as a character after the stuff with Cersei. Tyrion strangling Shae was brutal, and seeing him confront Tywin was oh so satisfying. Dinklage deserves an Emmy for his work this season. [/BLACKOUT]

The wait for next season is going to kill me.

I never read the books, so I have nothing really to be disappointed in accuracy wise, or knowing what's around the corner.

But these past two episodes have been some of the finest tv I've seen produced. Very impressed. Loved every bit of it,:up:

Was on the edge of me seat through out. Score this ep was amazing as well.

I was sweating with a big smile on my face during the Brie/Hound fight scene. That was so much win. She is seriously becoming one of my favorite characters in the show.

Ehhh, I don't know. Depends on how much time they spend introducing Dorne. Plus, there's the Greyjoy plot, which would eat up some time. They could elect to leave that out, but it's certainly an option.

I gather everyone liked the episode :)

See, you made it on your own ;) But I do feel I need an apology :D Kidding.

If they don't adapt the Greyjoy plot and they catch wholly up with Martin it's their own damn fault, also you could mine the house of black and white for a LONG time. **** just having Stannis at the wall should eat a **** ton of story.

With certain people they have plenty to do, but if I am remembering correctly, we are pretty much caught up with Sansa's storyline. And Bran is pretty far along as well.

Arya/Hound & Brienne, Tyrion, and Jon Snow/Stannis stuff was awesome...

Bran stuff felt like a bad video game and don't see the point of the Mountain becoming Frankenstein.

I just can't stand Kahleesi scenes anymore, only times they're all right is when she's naked (which never happens anymore) or when her dragons do stuff (which is few and far between and now looks like, will happen even less).

no it sucked
LS
was not in. Now they are saving
her
for s5 i guess so they have another big WTF moment to introduce. Still crap that
she
was not in it. So no the episode was not good:cmad:

According to GOT wiki the children should look like this:

The children were smaller than men with nut-brown skin, dappled like a deer's with paler spots. They had large ears that could hear things that no man could hear.
They usually had large eyes, great golden cat's eyes, that could see down passages where a boy's eyes saw only blackness. They have vertical, slit-like pupils; this trait is responsible for improved night vision and typically associated with a nocturnal lifestyle in such creatures as cats (the children's eyes are described in A Dance with Dragons as resembling cats' eyes) and many species of snakes, including nearly all vipers (despite Doran Martell's reference to his brother Oberyn's "viper eyes," the Red Viper is never described as sharing this feature with the children of the forest). A few had green or red eyes; these had the gift of greensight and were known as greenseers.
Their hands had only three fingers and a thumb, with sharp black claws instead of nails.[2] The children were slight, quick, and graceful

soooo we saw white normal looking people instead, what was the deal with that? no one finds this a bit weird?

We're at a point in her story where the TV folks might have to introduce some new stuff to keep people interested. Because she's going to be stuck in Mereen for quite awhile, now, doing very little...
