I've been working on a Kingsguard costume from this show. A few weeks ago I finished it and debuted it at a convention that GRRM was attending. A New York Times reporter approached me and said that he saw me and wanted me (and a few others) to take part in the photoshoot for an article they were writing on him. Here's a pic of me in costume with GRRM:

wow man phenomenal work

Guys, I asked about [BLACKOUT]Lady Stoneheart[/BLACKOUT] and....

She's not in the episode.

[YT]yULENYSRW_M[/YT]

[BLACKOUT]DAMMIT!!! I had a feeling she wouldn't be in it given the amount of stuff they had to squeeze in. I'm disappointed, but I'm glad I know going into it so I don't explode with rage on Sunday night after I watch it. It would have made for a perfect ending. Hopefully next season, but they need to get to her fast, otherwise where is Brienne's story going to go?[/BLACKOUT]

If the scene doesn't happen I am going to have to question why more then a few members of the cast have been teasing the scene.

Hate to say I told you so, but sounds like they are definitely saving [BLACKOUT]Lady Stoneheart[/BLACKOUT] for next season's premier. Just makes sense... you've got to space out your twists so that there's something left to work with next time.

That said, its a bit odd in light of Lena's tweet.

Do we still need to hide spoilers in our posts now that the Non-spoiler thread has been created? It would be nice if a Mod could alter the thread title by adding in "Spoilers!!".

Ive only seen Lena tease it, and we might have misread that. A Heart of stone or ice is an english phrase. And given that her character is the queen ***** and has a hard heart that might have been what she meant. Her image may not have had anything to do with LS now that I think about it.

Besides her tho, who else has teased LS?

If this turns out to be true or if it turns out to be true that LS is out of the show entirely then it means the character doesnt play a crucial role in the book ending of the series so they dont feel the need to intro the character at all or that D&D have simplified the ending. Either way it would raise questions. Questions that an interviewer needs to raise at some point in the future.

It could be just as likely that they delayed LS because they wanted season 4 to have more of a conclusive feel to it compared to other seasons, what with the War essentially being over. I think Alex Graves (the director) even said that it was the first time a season finale of the show had been a proper ending rather than a plug for next year.

So do we think that:
Tywin's death
will definitely happen in the finale?

It definitely is. I asked him about that scene too and he said -

The Tywin/Tyrion scene was brutally great, but Tyrion killing Shae was just heartbreaking and brutal! She almost scratched his face of trying to survive. Very raw scene.

****. No LS has dampened my excitement a lot but I can't wait to see that scene.

That's good to know. If that scenes as good as they say, then I can live with them pushing
Lady Stoneheart
back to season 5. Don't fire off all of your best shots at once.

If they are not using LS at this point, I doubt they're going to use it. It's Coldhands, all over again.

Does Coldhands appear again after Bran meets Brynden and the CotF? I'm past that in ADWD but if he doesn't then I could see why he was cut.

Even though she's not in the finale I'm still going to hold out hope she'll be in S5. I think they could do it by having the season build up to it - like in AFFC with the Hound imposter, there'd be rumours going around of the BWB's "Hangwoman" they're calling Lady Stoneheart, killing Freys and outlaws or whatever. Then when it gets to the finale and Brienne and Podrick meet their fate, she lowers her hood and we see that it's Catelyn.

Thats what Im thinking. Look at what D&D are doing here. Theyve cut Coldhands, theyve killed Gren and Pyp, and now LS isnt being introduced. D&D are slimming the herd and have simplified things by cutting stuff not necessary to the adaption's end-game. So I dont expect LS to be introduced at all if the character doesnt show up in this finale.

LS and that whole subplot may not be necessary for this adaption and we may just have to accept that and get over it. It sucks cause LS is a cool visual that I wanted to see, but I also am glad that D&D are simplifying things. There is enough stuff going on in the show as it is, and other characters probably more important to the end-game to intro.

Would you guys take the fact that the Greyjoy brothers aren't on their family tree at the HBO Viewers Guide as a hint that they won't be in the show?

I expected Euron, at least. The events in AFFC make it seem like he's going to be a major player.

Me too, and Victarion, since he [BLACKOUT]Goes to Slaver's Bay to find Daenerys[/BLACKOUT]. We haven't heard anything casting-wise, but I find it really hard to believe that they'd cut them when they seem so important (well, except Aeron). Hopefully it's just because they already have actors in mind for them and other roles like Arianne and the Griffs and aren't doing auditions like with the Dornish.

I remember Sophie Turner teasing it, but I can't remember where.
