Brilliant episode.

Also loved that it ended with my girl, Arya. Didn't expect that. :awesome:

See my picture in one of my previous posts on this page. It is taken from the Game of Thrones card game, but that's how I pictured them. A bit gremlin-ish.

Interesting but I think it looks a little too evil for them.

:lmao:

Another thing... I wonder how much we'll see of Varys with Tyrion and [BLACKOUT]Illyrio[/BLACKOUT] next season. I kinda figured they'd have him leave with Tyrion as a way to keep him in the show (thank goodness, Varys is one of my favourite characters) so I'm glad he did.

All the Unsullied viewers are probably wondering why and how Stannis goes to the Wall to fight off Mance Rayder's army. I don't think they showed Aemon sending out letters to all the kings of the Seven Kingdoms, right?

I'm sure there was a reason to omit LS. Apparently she isn't in books 4 and 5 and if you introduce something so shockingly huge to end your season, and then not bring her back in the next season, then it's just kind of a cheap tease isn't it? I assume she'll play a much bigger part in the next two books and then when they need her to come in to fit their own narrative, she'll be brought in. I think we have to wait and see as to how we'll see her in the books to really gauge when she can be brought in the show.

Really? I missed that. I just heard her muttering "my lion".

Wait, nevermind. I guess I should have paid more attention.

Pretty sure they showed that, as well as Stannis/Daavos reading it as well. Or am I wishing things from the books into the show?

They did. I recall King's Landing got one. And I believe Stannis did as well.

Still felt like it came out of nowhere though.

Yup, they did. It was Davos that convinced Stannis to go I believe.

Hopefully Stannis doesn't make quite as many dumb decisions from here on out like he did in the books.

Aemon had Sam send out the letters to different places. Shireen had already taught Davos how to read stuff and he was just doing his rounds of reading letters, until that big one.

Then he used that letter as his trump card. And Melisandre advised Stannis that the current war is useless and to go and defend the Wall.

I wouldn't count him out just yet, he's clearly got an ace up his sleeve if the Winds of Winter chapter is to be believed.

I'm so pissed at Lena Heady for that damn pic she tweeted a few weeks ago now....
I don't know how to post images from my phone but I just saw a meme on Facebook of Lena Heady in some mugshot type pic with the caption "I came, I trolled. I hit em right there in the feels" Yes you did, Lena. Yes you did.

First of all, that was probably just a coincidence. The pic was just a bunch of stones in a heart shape pattern. Second, how do we know she's even read the books? She may know that [BLACKOUT]Catelyn comes back, but does she know she's called Lady Stoneheart?
[/BLACKOUT]

I was always skeptical about it, but fans read way too much into it. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Well I haven't read that chapter so I'll take your word on it. His decisions in ADWD are pretty ****ing awful.

These last 3 episodes have been perfect, the only thing I'm mad about is that there was no [BLACKOUT]Coldhands or Lady Stoneheart appearance (I was especially hoping for a Lady Stoneheart ending, I can only imagine how cool that would have been to see)[/BLACKOUT]. But this episode had enough big moments to justify their absence. So all is forgiven, I just want more episodes... pronto. :woot:

So she just happens to tweet a picture of a bunch of stones in a heart shaped pattern... come on. It's an obvious and deliberate nod to [blackout]Lady Stoneheart[/blackout].

Is the music from the scene where Daenerys chains up the dragons on the soundtrack?

Am I the only one that had a problem with the way they handled Shae?! The television character was so vastly different from the book character that the ending didn't feel right.
