Yes! Same here. I'm debating if I should request the following Monday off from work so I can recuperate.
So yeah, watched the episode. Loved every little moment of it.
Looks like Arya and the Hound made their amends finally. But I take it she still doesn't forgive Beric for selling Gendry, and when she seen him, it's probably what spurred her to go have her little quality time with him. Just have to wonder now, did he plant his seed in her?
The beginning with Jaime being on trial, was understood, but Daenerys should know by now that he had to kill her father because he went completely nuts, killing very honorable men thanks to his paranoia. Good thing Brienne stepped in.
The Daenerys and Sansa scene was pretty good, but again, I am still not sure exactly where they are taking Daenerys. It really seems like she is completely conflicted and is suffering from some kind of bipolar. Sure, she has her sights on the Iron Throne, and contests anyone who questions it, but then she did finally come around and listened to both Sansa and Jorah's council about keeping Tyrion around, and safe! I think her biggest enemy is that she is constantly being haunted by the ghost of Verserys, because it does seem when she starts to go down an ugly path, she is seeing the world through her brother's eyes. But when she hears Jorah, Jon, Tyrion and now even Sansa, she steps back and thinks more clearly about her actions.
Nice little Jorah and Lady Mormont scene. I hope she doesn't die in the battle.
Now, I am very worried about Bran. I just would love to have a scene where Jon and Tormund see Bran warg, and Jon looks surprised, and Tormund is like, you never heard of a warg before you started hanging out with us, but yet you are related to one. You really do know nothing Jon Snow! LOL.
My favorite part though, Jaime officially Knighting Brienne.
Right. And I'm a little surprised that whoever does them is still doing it.It's crazy to think the wait has been since 2017.
What didn't you like about the writing for her?I loved everything about this episode....
EXCEPT for the writing they gave Dany....

It feels like they're writing her dumber and less compassionate than she really is. Its like "HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT THE TYRANT TARGARYEN"
just doesn't sit well with me
She's leaning more towards being the antagonist to Jon's protagonist character development.
Also, don't they make more than one? At least the shows/films with bigger budgets? That has always struck me as incredibly petty and stupid behavior from studios. These actors embody these characters. Connect with the props. Work atrocious hours and deal with unhealthy stress. They make the studios millions of dollars. And the studio cant let them keep a single prop? Its BS.
Kit should have just taken Longclaw and gave HBO the finger.
Yep. Most major productions duplicate all the hero props just in case. They also make various versions of each sword for safety reasons. Stunts swords and half blades swords and rubber swords etc. There were more than enough Longclaws to give Kit a hero shot version of Longclaw and keep one for their own archives or to sell to a road show museum. Also, don't they make more than one? Have to say it worked beautifully for me, probably my favourite episode in a long time where all the actors brought their A game in what was a very character driven 54 minutes.Didn't like this episode. Drama fell flat. Writing is empty. If not for couple of funny scenes (mostly Tormund) and some tease...
