Or:
*Ned rolls in his crypt* "I should have let Cersei kill that bastard."

It feels like they're writing her dumber and less compassionate than she really is. Its like "HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT THE TYRANT TARGARYEN"
just doesn't sit well with me
Next week's episode is going to be absolutely lit, man. I wonder how they are going to the tackle the problem of disaster / action fatigue though. An hour of a monotonous war fight can get tedious, but it can be great if executed properly I'm sure.. so it'll be cool to see.
This last episode was so sick. Lots of really satisfying moments.
My one complaint about this season so far is that a lot of it is incredibly dark and hard to see.
It seems as though the big battle will be like that as well which is not a good sign. Hopefully we'll be able to figure out what is going on... I get that the setting for the episode and battles is dark but you gotta be able to see it to really appreciate the magnitude of it otherwise is somewhat of a waste.
I don't tknow. I've watched the series on the HBO website. It’s probably your tv/streaming service-device.
I watched on my phone tonight, got back from a 8hr drive from Chicago, and it looked super bright at only 75% phone brightness. When even day scenes look too dark on my television through HBOnow/PS4.
It's pretty clear Dany's going to go full Mad King by the end of the season. Rewatching her scenes from season 4 it's pretty obvious this was always going to be her path. Incest may have been necessary to keep the Targeryen dragon riding ability, but at least Jon had a Stark mother. The paranoia and bloodthirst was always apparent in Danaerys and seems to be her ultimate undoing. I just wonder how many people she'll take down with her.
Fair warning, the below tag is for a spoiler for future episodes if you want to remain Unsullied:
It's likely that Dany will be the one that puts Tyrion on trial, apparently for all of his massive but still honest mistakes of last season. Believing Cersei was just the last straw.
Her reactions may be understandable given what she's gone through, but she's always been a little more bloodthirsty than necessary. Burning Miri Maz Duur alive was unnecessary (even though in hindsight it was needed to birth her dragons). Executing hundreds of Wise Masters in retaliation for their slave mile markers was excessive and unwise. Especially on the show, she's always had a touch of Targaryen madness, and it's been exacerbated over the years.Dany isnt insane. Her behavior and decisions and reactions are entirely justifiable in the context of her life and experiences and the fact shes been fighting a war for survival her entire life.
So we know they cant win. And we didnt see them making any plans of retreat. So here's the thing... who is coming in for the save?
