Game of Thrones General (Non-Book Related) Discussion Thread - Part 1

Can barley see finally found a setting now where I can sort of see. Never ever had this issue watching any of these episodes. Too dark.

NOOOO!!!!!

At least Lyanna took out the Giant

I am actually glad that character died I found them annoying.

I actually prefer this Resident Evil section of the episode over the Battle That No One Is Allowed to See.

Is
Rhaegal dead? I can’t see anything during the dragon fight.

Some of the scenes I can watch no problem they’re visible and others are horrendous wow

... I don’t know where to even begin with this episode.

Jon was underwhelming in this battle. And what was he doing screaming at Viserion?

Yall need to upgrade your televisions or calibrate your screens. The lighting is fine.

Lame as hell.

Oh, most definitely. That bodycount is bull****. And then add in how the "big battle" was shot. And the writing had them making the most idiotic moves possible (I'm guessing the budget also did not allow for horse battles for the rest of the season).

I’m assuming Ghost is dead?

Not sure if you’re agreeing or being sarcastic

That would've been great if I could see what was happening. Ramin Djawadi's score sounded great as always.

I have never once watching this show had the issue I did tonight with the visuals. More so the lighting. Took a good few minute to adjust my settings for it.

I suspect they shot it calibrated for new HDR televisions. I'm watching on a Sony 930e and its bright with no crushed blacks. The only time I struggled was when the weather was obscuring things, but that's how it should be. This is a battle essentially fought in a blizzard at night with 100% cloud cover. The stuff outside should be chaotic and hard to see at times.
