i think people are working on the belief that gator is like a fake name to cover the fact that he is the nolan-universe version of killer croc. that being said, i don't think he is killer croc. but it would be cool if he was.

i would love for killer croc to apear in the nolan films. if joker can be in it, then i think killer croc can too.

The Prestige was based on a book of the same name, and to be fair, the book's premise was far more absurd than what happened in the movie.

Right. I'm just saying that Nolan is not unwilling to run with a 'fantastic' idea, in a world which, in all other aspects, is 'grounded in reality'. That was the case in The Prestige, which was utterly grounded in reality to the point of explaining exactly how each 'magic' trick worked. Only the transporter stood out as fantasy or sci-fi, and highly improbable. But Nolan decided that it fit. A 'supervillain' like Killer Croc could be handled in a similar way, and frankly I'd like to see Croc or even Grundy in a Nolan Batman film. REAL creatures of the night. (No vampires, though. Done to death... or undeath, as it were.)

Sure, if you want to aim small. But I think he'd be a MUCH better fit for DKR Batman.

I don't think the moviegoing public is ready for Mickey Rourke as the older, meaner DKR Batman. For the hardcore fans, though, I can see the appeal.

I also don't see a DKR Batman and Nolan's Batman existing in theaters at more or less the same time. The whole thing just seems to require too much 'education' of Joe Moviegoer.

But I could see Rourke fitting right into the present Bat-reality as Killer Croc. That's a more realistic vision, and I like the idea a lot.

I sure would like to see Nolan's treatment of ALL the Batman baddies. But I don't imagine he'll do more than one additional Batman film beyond Dark Knight.

I don't want Killer Croc to appear in this film. I'm glad he's not.

If the skin disorder doesn't make him look like a crocodile man, then he's not Killer Croc.

That's right, he's not Killer Croc. He's Gator.

it's called an adaption, the new name means fans can't biitch about not getting it right

Batman actor ready to fight crime here

In Batman, Christian Bale plays the title role and Hollywood heartthrob Heath Ledger is rumoured to be playing the wide-grinned Joker.

Well it's a good thing Heath's being rumored to be playing Joker as of 9-13. Can anyone tell us if this rumor is true or not?

thats such bull, heath is too pretty for the Joker!

if killer croc is in this movie Im gonna shoot myself,
why would they bring such an unbelievable character to this movie. If they must do this type of character I would much rather have a solomon grundy, I would despise that less than a killer croc.

^Don't worry. They wouldn't. It's just stupid speculation. It's not even speculation. It's one guy who thinks this.

hmmm...

lol...I think I liked it better when all you people were screaming at the top of your lungs how Anthony Micheal Hall was gonna be The Riddler, and none of you would hear otherwise...

...

Yup...that was more pathetic...
