Played this for 10 matches straight. No breaks.

It's such a sick game. Everything felt better from Gears 2. I cannot wait for this to come out. If the multiplayer is this good the story will be incredible

Sawed Off was fun for a bit. But idk by the time you get close enough you might as well use Chainsaw Bayonet or Gnasher. Im sticking with Gnasher over Sawed off.

As for rifles for me it's: 1) Lancer 2) Hammerburst 3) Retro. Lancer is good as usual. I like the accuracy with Hammerburst. Retro Lancer has too much kick

Just got done winning 23 matches in a row with 3 of my buddies.

I knew that retro lancer was going to be sick, i love that gun.

I'm liking King of the Hill so far. I love how you don't need to stay in the hill to be capturing it kind of like domination on Cod. At first I didn't realize you could pull the trigger faster to shoot the hammerburst like a single shot, now I'm loving that gun more and more. Wow I keep getting screwed by these horrible spawn points at times they are worse than Reach which I think has by far the worst spawning of any game.

I dont know about KotH, but with TDM, i didnt have a problem with the spawns. Altho there was a time when i spawned up directly behind two dudes, which gave me two easy kills.

Yep, I had that spawning issue as well, several times in a row actually.

I wish i could of been on the other team that ended our win streak, i dont think they had a clue as to the kind of work we were putting in prior, it was crazy.

I find it to be mostly in Thrashball. People running around with the double barreled shotgun is also getting a bit tiresome.

Thats so easy to counter tho. Just dont let them close in.

Yeah I know for the most part I counter them very easily with the Retro Lancer. Its more annoying when your team is doing it and then you see they have like 2 kills and over 10 deaths.

I love that the Retro Lancer almost eliminates those shotgun rollers. I dont know how many times in the past gears titles that someone would just come rolling towards me offing me with the shotty. No longer.

Oh I agree, someone tries rolling in with the shotgun, the retro lancer stops them in their place and drops them. I wish it had a bit more ammo per clip since its rate of fire is pretty high and you run out of ammo rather quickly. Either that or I just spray the gun quite sporadically which wouldn't surprise me.

There's only one thing I dislike about this beta...the guys that play it 24/7. Seriously, it's a bit pathetic. Last night was a bit ridiculous with shotgun rollers for me, no matter what I did with the retro lancer there seemed to always be one behind me...

Which leads me to another thing...

Fix the bloody spawn points... I got sick and tired of spawning only to have two enemies spawn right behind me. Sheeeeesh.

Other than that, I'm having fun and I'll be picking this game up fo'sho'.

Dude, they don't spawn in the same place as you, people tend to camp behind the spawn point after getting a kill. I've watched them do it. Dodgy as, but you can do the same to them.

I was playing with a guy who was like a level 40-something last night. I can only think to myself but to tell them to get a life

I also played with a guy last night that was yelling at 3 of us, level 1, for not going positive and making us lose. It was my first game and I was a level 1 in a public match that don't matter squat!? Some people are crazy.

Haha yea, me and my buddies came across a team of 28's and 40's and were thinking 'what the hell, this thing has only been out for a week'. We ended up doing just fine tho, beat em all fairly handedly. I'll put me and my 3 friends up against just about anyone, and one of our dudes has never even played Gears before. We are gonna run s**t when this game drops. Cant wait. We do need a 5th tho, so anyone who wants to team up and dominate, let me know.

It's a bit unfair to judge dudes on level 40. Bear in mind some people have had the beta for a couple of weeks even before Bulletstorm.

I dunno, I've played just over 90 games in a week and a day, and i'm level 15, and I honestly haven't been playing it that much. I played it after work for a decent amount on maybe 3 occasions last week? Add the other weeks to that, and I can see it.

Also, if you look at the leaderboards, pretty much everyone in the top percentage are games journos.

Im constantly getting Personal Assist , Medic, and Team PLayer ribbons. I'm Pippen to MJ, I'm Short Round to Indy, I'm Tom Hagen to Vito/Michael Corleone

One thing I noticed that I dont really like is how people can sneak up on you. People mentioned the spawn points issue (which they do need to fix) but I mean there are more ways to flank, etc. Has anyone noticed that?

Yea man, i dont know how many times iv said "how the hell did they get behind me!?"

As for those fixes, thats exactly what this beta is for. I cant believe how polished the game is already. Its amazing.
