Gerard Butler Returning for 'London Has Fallen'

The horrible CGI chopper crash at the end it this trailer's "Chewie, were home" moment.

Also LOL at the eventual Banning vs. Dr. Pavel fight.

I was trying to figure out the whole trailer where I knew the bad guy from.

Dr. Pavel for Head Bad Guy? Didn't exactly go all out casting the villain, did they? Maybe they spent their whole budget on bad CGI and paying Morgan Freeman to stand in a room and look serious.

I wonder if Banning will snap Pavel's neck?! :funny:

I was in when they announced the movie.

I'm not gonna lie when they announced it I thought this is was gonna be another pointless sequel. I LOVED the first movie but didn't think there were more stories to tell. But this trailer has won me over. The stakes look even bigger and more epic and I'm sure it'll be good, cheesy, action-y fun. I'm in.

So the movie will feature Morgan Freeman being in one room, where all he has to do is be on the phone, and watch a bunch of videos? What an easy paycheck.

And that helicopter at the end literally looks like a kid tossing a Micro Machine at a wall.

The first one had shoddy CGI too but it didn't stop it from being damn great fun.

Looks like Pavel learned a lot from Bane. But has the student surpassed the master?

"Unlike him, I WON'T have my plan take six freaking months for no good reason, so that the hero can conveniently find a way to foil it just in time."

The tagline, man...

The queen's guard are moving and firing their weapons. Looks like **** is going down!

EDIT: Machinima has an exclusive clip on their YT page.

That bit at the end is amazing. He casually shoots the goon in the head and leaves the body wedged in the rear windshield. Classic Mike Banning.

Looking forward to this, even considering the dodgy CGi which is par for the course nowadays. I watched the first one expecting a very run of the mill and forgettable action flick, but everything in the film seemed to click and it was a very enjoyable show.

Only got round to watching it's cinematic nemesis (White House Down) the other night and can't say I enjoyed it as much as Olympus.

That helicopter shot was so fake looking..that it's almost genius.

I genuinely think the awful CGI added charm to the original and they're aware of it. Doesn't hurt that Millenium's FX house is the worst.

Screen Rant has the new R rated TV spot! It may be the best TV spot ever.
