Goddamit, where is my trailer? Those posters were sweet but COME ON. Spirit of Vengeance is the FIRST super hero movie of 2012 and since it's the year of Dark Knight Rises and Avengers, a lot more people than usual will be hearing about comic book stuff. Plus he's a modestly popular Marvel character. WTF Sony?

Yeah, it was for fun. I just wanted to do something with that art poster. The fire is from the official art from Sony and the face is a capture of GR from the trailer when he is walking forward in daylight.

Ghost Rider looks a bit "off" in that scene imo (the fire on his skull looked wierd), I hope it looks alot better in the final film.

We're past that point. Up until yesterday I was really REALLY excited about GR2 even after some of less encouraging interviews. It was kinda my most anticipated just because of the character but then... info from Empire's Dark Knight Rises issue came out. My god, that film is gonna be killer. Seriously, Sony had its chance.
Now, it's all about TDKR. Only a super awesome, super perfect trailer can reignite the Rider. Also, now they have a deadline. After TDKR trailer comes out on December 16th, nothing else will matter.

Fire is gonna rise and Sony better be the first to let its fire hero do the rising (My bad ).

Uh...Ghost Rider comes out in Feburary....TDKR comes out in July. They missed no chance.

I'm not talking about the release day hype. My problem is with early buzz / hype. Right now even if they release a new GR trailer, nobody will care about it since TDKR trailer and prologue are coming out in mere weeks and everyone is gonna be focused on them for some time.

Also, it just shows how far behind Sony is. This is the 2nd trailer for a July release and yet we don't have anything like that for a Feb release. TDKR will have at least 3 main trailers before release while GR will probably follow the same route taken by MI4, which is tracking rather poorly.

Batman is a huge character, and Ghost Rider is a niche one - it doesn't really matter when what bit of promo material released, there's always going to be more hype for The Dark Knight Rises.

I know but if GR2 had come out before Batman's new hype train began (With recent Empire stuff and more), it could have attracted some attention. I mean why the hell didn't they release the trailer on Halloween? Now even if a trailer comes out, nobody will talk about. It's not about the size and franchise. Hunger Games is coming much later than GR2 and got its second trailer weeks ago, before TDKR uberhype started. Sony is just being lazy IMO and they've already lost a big chunk of business due to lack of proper and timely advertising.

I saw the trailer in front of Immortals on Sunday. It looks awesome but I bet some people were surprised it was even getting a sequel.

You have to understand that very few people wanted this film. The first one is horrible, and most think that.

SO honestly, unless this movie gets good word of mouth, no one is going to care.

Thx everyone, yup I'll gab my logo version when I get back, tho I think I might be hosed someone just told me were HAD to use the assets from the site to make our posters. I was confused on that whole issue, so who knows.
