I liked they way DD used a flashback to tell the character's origin story as well.

I also agree with the origins being among better parts of DD. They were quick flashbacks that quickly got origin out of the way. MSJ tried to do the same with GR but he failed (Badly).

My main problems with DD involve mostly the stuff that Fox forced into the theatrical version. If they had used better dialogue, some better acting and removed that horrible playground fight, it could have been one of the better superhero movies.

I am surprised the playground fight made it in both cuts...it is seriously one of the most ridiculously awful fight scenes in a superhero film. Like up there with Batman & Robin kinda bad.

Yea, Daredevil DC would be pretty high up on my list if a few more annoying things were chopped out. The playground fight being the main offender.

Fox were so bizarre back then. The worst example of their meddling has to be Kingdom of Heaven. I mean they get Ridley Scott, off the back of the Oscar winning Gladiator, to do a epic about the Crusades... then they completely butcher it. Madness.

To be fair, PW Anderson's crappy PG-13 film was at least watchable (Something that can't be said about its R rated sequel, My god that was "bad" bad).

Also, I'll send Vengeance itself after Sony if they don't release the trailer before this month. I mean, WTF are they doing? We're less than 3 months away from release and there is almost zero hype surrounding the film thanks to almost non-existent marketing. The teaser trailer created a lot of buzz and got a lot of people talking about GR2 thanks to the controversial fire pissing. They truly failed to used the piss momentum...
