Yeah and that other one w/ a trenchcoated GR surrounded by clouds of smoke and fire. Would be awesome to finally see them on screen but Sony is going super cheap on this one....id be surprised if we see much of GR on screen at all.

Maybe also a much shorter running time than the 1 hour 50 minutes Ghost Rider got.

Really? That was Ghost Rider's running time?? I'd watch it to confirm it...but I really don't wanna watch it...

...so I'm totally giving up on this one...I try to reserve judgement till they usually come out......but this one seems to already be a stinker...

I have a feeling they arent going to change GRs appearance at all (maybe just not use the spikes) ...in fact i bet that set photo w/ Cage in the leathers will be how GR will look. Just add flaming skull, hands and flame to the bike tires and thats it. I cant see them going crazy w/ this given their budget was cut back so badly.
I am hoping they might use some of Bernie Wrightson's early concept work for the 2001 version but im not holding my breath.

Well since the budget has been cut maybe they'll use a lit match next to a skull to simulate GR's fire. I mean really.. why bother if you aren't going to go all out for a movie. The last movie needed more and now you're giving them less to work with, with no Eva to light my medallion of power.

Ack.. another disappointment.

Sony is smart to cut the budget. Most didn't like the first flick, Nic Cage's stock as an action star is dying and the movie is going to make less than the first one. Hell, I could see it grossing less than 75mil domestically.

The smartest thing would be to not make a sequel to the worst movie of 2007.

I think Ghost Rider, I'm sorry to say, was worse than the Fantastic Four movies.

Since there isn't a Ghost Rider section...I noticed recently there have been "Blu-Ray Essentials" releases of Ghost Rider and the Spider-Man films...I'm assuming there the same as the previous Blu-Ray releases (just for the Spidey films you can get them seperate instead of in the box set)......I'm all for upgrading my current DVDs and Blu-Rays if new releases have new content so can anyone tell me in there's new content on these or not...as far as I can tell, there the same...

...and I'm also hoping for a new Spidey Trilogy set(you know a new box sets coming out when the reboot hits theaters)..........I don't mind upgrading when I can sell the old sets...

Dont think its been announced but if i had to make a guess it would probably be the same in house crew from the last film so they can keep costs down:
Sony Pictures Imageworks.

It wouldn't make sense to go somewhere else. SPI developed new tech for his graphics, and they can save a good amount of time and money on development by reusing this tech, freeing up money for other graphics.

This is a hell of a thing to say in a year that featured such gems as Norbit, Epic Movie, Daddy Day Camp, Hostel 2, Wild Hogs, and Good Luck Chuck.

Why didn't WB make a sequel to Superman Returns? It had better reviews than this and it made more money.

200mil worldwide isn't really that special for a movie that cost 115mil to make and countess more millions to market and was disliked by the majority of moviegoers.
