Jonah can stay out of it and ill give Seth a pass for his incredible 'This is the End'. But if Seth gets involved it'll be too obvious.

And... I love Steve Carrell and it'll be interesting to see where he goes with his career after his drama Foxcatcher. He doesn't need Ghostbusters at this point in his career.


And.... I can't hate Zack. His standup is just incredible and I wish his films would reflect that side of him more often.

They have reported Michael B Jordan as Human Torch and that Aaron Taylor Johnson was going to be Quicksilver, although that's likely based on the fact that they had been rumored for a long time.

I'll believe this movie is happening when a press release is announced.

And would Bill Murray have come back as Venkman had Wes Anderson or Jim Jarmusch been involved?

Eh, if this film is never made I still can always resort to the GB video games for 360 and PS3. Dayuuum, you got the whole cast and a new story line.

well, it dont look like we will EVER get all the originals back, so......my cast.
jim carey. he would be the one who doesnt take it serious.
Samuel l jackson. the courage of the bunch. will cuss a ghost in a second lol.
will farrell. the big crybaby.
robert downey JR.. the brains and the calming effect of the group, with a bit of smart azz thrown in.

Eh, pretty sure GB3 is going on 25 years. But we did get Indy 4 20 years later, and we're getting sequels to the Star Wars OT 36 years later, so I guess it is always possible.

While that film was actually good that still does not give me any interest in seeing Seth Rogen or Jonah Hill and THAT kind of humor in a Ghostbusters film.

It might not be THAT kind of humor in this Ghostbuster film, ever considered that? I love me some Emma Stone, so that would be awesome. And Academy Award Nominee Jonah Hill has proven recently to be a pretty diverse actor.

Yes of course I've considered it but all of those guys aside from maybe Hill are pretty much one trick ponies especially Rogen, who has no place being in a Ghostbusters film imo, Stone on the other hand I would love to see.

I wouldn't mind seeing Rogen as one of the ghosts they capture actually. Or Hill. Put them in a role that's not a ghostbuster but a ghost to be busted and I think it would work better.

^ That Teelie I wouldn't have as much of a problem with, I just don't think of of them are actual Ghostbuster material.

I thought of it as a good compromise for those who want to see them in the movie. Although it might be funnier to make them failed ghostbusters who end up as ghosts and cause problems for the successful ghostbusters (whether they be the original or successors).
