Yeah, if this were Ghostbusters Earth 2 or Los Angeles for example, I could live with it. This way just seems weird.

I hope its good, dont give a **** about it being an all female team, the members gender means bugger all. all i care about is the creative team and the characters and thats whats worries me i haven't liked any of the groups past i have seen

maybe this will be the first bu i'll wait and see

What the hell is that in your avatar? It's cool and creepy as hell. :yay:

I honestly can't wait for this - the cast is awesome and I've loved everything from Feig so I have no reason to worry.

Definitely agree. Feig did a great job with Spy. That movie was hilarious. It wasn't what I expected at all (being a vulgar and a bit raunchy--in a good way). I was going to take my mom to see it. Glad I didn't, especially with that one seen where they are viewing the pictures on that guy's camera.

How is this GB3 when it isn't related to the first two.

hopefully it isn't called Ghostbusters or The Ghostbusters.

I wouldn't mind if it was called "Ghostbustin" tbh.

Because this isn't GB 3 and Ghostbustin is a terrible title.

Nah, son. Filmation!GB laid claim to Earth 2. Feig's can be Earth 3

I like Melissa McCarthy when she's in a good role. For example, Spy was great. But you couldn't pay me to watch Tammy. But I'm not concerned about her; I'm sure she'll be fine.

The other actors though... I've got to be honest, I've never seen the appeal of Kristin Wiig. I don't find her funny, charming or talented in general. And the other two I've only seen on SNL, and SNL pretty much sucks 90% of the time.

Channing Tatum talks Ghostbusters 3

http://comicbook.com/2015/06/23/channing-tatum-would-love-to-do-ghostbusters/

"That thing's gotten messy, I've got to be honest," Tatum told the aging shock jock. "There's a lot of people doing a lot of things on Ghostbusters."

"Look, I would love to do it," he said. "Like I said, there's a lot of people in the pool right now, the Ghostbusters pool. I think we're in a gestation period right now."

Reid Carolin – Tatum’s producing partner and screenwriter on both Magic Mike films – was interviewed by Screen Rant’s own Kara Warner as part of the marketing push for the upcoming Tatum-headlined sequel, Magic Mike XXL (look for the full interview with Carolin soon on our homepage). The discussion briefly turned to the Ghostbusters spinoff, to which Carolin said “We’re not doing that anymore”; when asked “Oh, you’re not?” he then clarified:

No I don’t think so, I think it’s too complicated. There’s a lot of things going on with that brand and I just feel like it’s over-saturated.

So...he makes it sound like there's a lot happening with Ghostbusters right now, but in reality there's just one new movie officially announced for next year. Unless there are some more announcements to be made, I'm a bit confused.

That's too bad, I was hoping they'd move forward with a Tatum and Pratt led Ghostbusters movie. Hopefully a true sequel somehow gets made or something other than the vagina monologue Ghostbusters. And let's hope that anbomination of a movie bombs bad.

Movies are worked on before they are announced. I don't see how it is confusing.

Feig tweeted a picture of the Ghostbusting suits.

I like the nod to firefighting suits.

I got to see some of this being filmed. I'm more excited for the film for that reason. I like that the costumes are essentially the same. Not sure how I feel about it being a straight remake though.

I'm pleasantly surprised they kept the original "No Ghosts" logo. I really wish this was a continuation of the original universe though. A quick Aykroyd cameo could've bridged the films.
