really wish they would have come up with a new logo

It's going to be okay guys, it's just one 80's classic that I don't care for. I do like the idea of the movie though, it just didn't work for me.

This new movie has a good director and a good cast so I don't see any reason to not be interested at least. And yes I do think that reboots are tired but it's not like there is no talent involved in this film.

Still, Ramis is gone. Any chance of getting the spark of the original movies is gone. So, it is far better to go off in a new direction, rather than try to emulate and come off as a cheap rip off. Personally, the talent involved seems encouraging. I won't write it off until some more definitive information (like trailers) comes out.

What sorcery is this? Waiting until you actually SEE some of the finished product before making a harsh judgment?

If this movie had a Terminator Genesis style director and cast I would be totally ignoring it but it doesn't. I'm pretty darn optimistic to be honest.

They are counting on the nostalgia factor, they aren't going to ditch the most iconic symbol of the brand.

The thing with any of these reboots is that they don't affect your blu ray copy of the original if they turn out to be crap.

I have loved the original GB from the start but I have met a lot of people that are at best, indifferent to it for what ever reason. Maybe it's Murray? I know my mom kinda dislikes him and his style. Even for myself, while I like STRIPES, I really have never gotten the hype behind CADDY SHACK or ANIMAL HOUSE.

Stokes and folks and all that.

How she isn't in every movie is a straight up mystery too me. She would have been perfect for any of the classic roles and has a history with the crew. Damnit.

As far as comparing this to Terminator Genesys, well at least they didn't turn Terminator into an old Fembot with menopause, get Melissa McCarthy to play Kyle Reese and bore everyone with her tired as F- shtick and get some young Hollywood stud to be Sarah Conner and have the Fembot Terminators oogle him.

This is going to be worse than Terminator Genesys, on par with Sharknado, Uwe Boll, and Trank's Fantastic Four.
