I love how when the gender of the leads in what have been traditionally male franchise change, it brings out some rather... well unfortunate povs. This reminds me of a reaction I saw in the Assassin Creed thread at the idea of there being a female protagonist. Jesus.

I laughed my ass off at Bridesmaids, The Heat was ok, and I'm ready for Spy as soon as I can get out of the house and away from the kids to see it. All starring women and equally enjoyable by men.

So what I'm seeing from the comments on the suits and packs is what I'd expect. Most people not looking forward to the film or wanting it to die don't like 'em and most people ok with the idea of the film think they look descent to great (mind that I say 'most' and not 'all').

The costumes look good. As does the proton pack, except that it looks tiny if the wand is anything to go by.

I'll probably watch it at some point. I might even enjoy it somewhat. I would still prefer that it wasn't a reboot and all women though. I eagerly await your incredulous gifs and replies.
