Man...the more I see/hear...the more I want to see this...or at least see it do well. I remember my heartbreak to find out the last GB film would not be a sequel/spin-off, but a reboot. This at least sparks some hope. Honestly, seeing ol' Ecto-1 makes me happy.

I agree.

I mean I guess they never really expressly say one way or the other. So you could assume it was either wrecked beyond repair and replaced, (After the kids party in GB2 I guess) or repaired/upgraded and put back in service.

Here's a side by side though.

My head cannon was that it was upgraded. Which is why I was surprised to see this as 1 and not 1A since 1A was the latest version of the car.

I think they're probably just going to round up and say there were 2 versions so they can milk some of that sweet GB1 nostalgia.

In all seriousness though I'm very interested in this movie. I think best case scenario this could be a new type of legacy sequel that we haven't quite seen before. Changing the setting so drastically is an interesting choice.

Shandor is an interesting figure in the Ghostbuster universe, and was also the villain from the video game. Would be something good to expand on here.

I’m going to be really upset if it’s not. It’s the last time the four main guys were together, I don’t want to see it gone.

The video game cannon will definitely be ignored. Sucks because the game was awesome (story-wise). I don't care. I just want a GOOD Ghostbusters movie. My daughter still loves the 2016 one, but she even admits the first one was better. She's 11, and she figured that out.

Either way, I just want it to NOT suck, keep me and my family entertained for 1.5 - 2 hours, and not be an overly politically charged drama. Funny, light, awesome, and have some heart. Ghostbusters.

Ernie Hudson has confirmed he is filming the new ghostbusters on his Cameo page where he does shout out messages.

I think we probably could have assumed he would be back. but there it is.

It won’t be available upon release, but what I’m most excited about is that they’re reworking multiplayer from the ground up and releasing it later in an update. I hope that includes adding it to the PC version.

They're rereleasing the first Ghostbusters into theaters in early October for one Sunday and one Thursday.

I was worried cause for the 30 dollar price tag I assumed it would just be the story mode kind of what they did for the Uncharted trilogy for PS4 that removed the multiplayer from UC 2 and 3.
