I liked it, more or less like I liked the teaser. I didn't mention it here before, but I liked the little Stay Pufts from the scene they released. The aesthetic of the film meshed a little better with the ghost effects here than it did for me in the teaser. Overall, it looks like I'd enjoy it.

They'd never retcon Ghostbusters II. Sure, it wasn't critically well-received and it got overshadowed by Batman when it came out, but the worst thing anyone says about it these days is "it's not bad but it's nowhere near as good as the first one". My question is if they'll make some sort of reference to the Ghostbusters video game from 2009 since many fans consider it to be canon, including myself. They made the effort to basically remake the game for current-gen consoles, so it wouldn't surprise me if there was a passing reference to the events in that game.
I hope they don’t overlook the 2009 video game. That was pretty much Ghostbusters 3 and the last time we got the entire gang back together. The story was even written by Dan & Harold

Not gonna lie, I teared up a little bit at the end. The first 2 Ghostbusters movies mean a lot to me so I want this to be good. I didn't watch the 2016 version because I wasn't interested in a do-over. I've always wanted a continuation of the story with the guys I loved so much as a child. Gutted Harold Ramis isn't alive to see this happen, but at least they're honoring his legacy by making this one about his kid/grandkids.

I'm actually a little surprised to see some of those toys already but maybe they aren't being as secretive about merchandise as Disney is with Marvel and Star Wars.

This looks wonderful. Different enough where it’s not trying to compete with the first (like the reboot), but honoring the legacy at the same time. This was probably the best direction they could’ve done.

Yeah, at first glance taking the story out of the city is a little jarring but the fresh take is welcome.

I only just now realized that the girl in this is McKenna Grace. I didn't recognize her with the Spengler family hair.

Egon's grandkids being Ghostbusters reminds me of the "Junior Ghostbusters" from the Real Ghostbusters cartoon.

I don't know. I appreciate the nostalgia, but I am not really vibing with the kids and the Stranger Things tone.

I’ve loved everything they’ve showed us so far. Probably my second-most anticipated film after The Green Knight.

Still digging the tone and rooting for this film. Hope it has some good humour in there.

still don't like the mini marshmellow men hopefully they make it work in the movie everything else is aces easily this is first weekend theater experience

Loved this new trailer, as I said on Facebook, it seems to me, the best 'direct' link to the 1989 sequel, with 'genuine' links and it's good they've course corrected Janine & Egon's relationship from the first, which has bugged me from years ago when they put here with RM's character in the second and un-did the obvious chemistry between the characters from the first film.
