Yeah but Peter often got the most attention in media and ads back in the day.

I’m loving everything I’ve seen and read. Looking forward to the trailer on Monday

This honestly already looks better than the 2016 abomination of a movie

I wonder how fans will react when they find out one of the original Ghostbusters turned out to be dead beat dad who was never there for his family

Or they could rationalize it by saying "He was away because he was protecting us from paranormal activity"

He might have died before she was born. Or there might be trillions of other reasons.

I really dig the premise too (mainly because it keeps Egon very much a part of this) and I'm very curious about what they do with the original members and if they will even bust ghosts again, or what the danger is. Really really curious and excited.

Same. July 2020 can't come soon enough.
Paul Rudd as a Ghostbusters fan who witnessed the 1984 "event" is golden.

Callie- He actually went through with his plan to drill a hole in head. It didn’t turn out so well for him

I am hoping and praying this ends up being a lot better than that 2016 reboot, but I'm already really liking everything I'm seeing and reading so far. Between the poster and those images I am getting major Spielberg vibes from this which is exactly what I got from that teaser that came out months ago as well. If that's the direction their going in than count me down for it.

I always saw the films as ensembles with all being main characters in their own way but Peter stood out because of the charismatic character and performance by Bill Murray. Peter especially got a spotlight in Ghostbusters 2 with the Diane and the baby plot.

I love all 4 but for me, my favs are Egon and Winston

Wonder if Oscar will figure into the plot in some way, or are they basically ignoring 2 altogether?

I'm pretty sure it's been revealed this is a direct sequel to 2 and not just the first one. I'm thinking Oscar will just be referenced though

I doubt it but I hope the 2009 videogame is still canon

I feel like Reitman would think so.

Was Ivan Reitman involved with the game or just the cast? I know it was considered to be canon at the time and like a third film but just in video game form. A remaster even just came out in October

As if I couldn't love Pentatonix enough already, I discovered they have a cover of the GB theme.

I think it's going to be online in an hour.

Looks good. Though I really hope it won't be all about those kids becoming Ghostbusters. They are too young to carry the proton packs.

I just hope that the old cast have bigger roles than just small cameros.
Me feeling too. I hope to see more adults than just these kids. And I had expected this have some more city appearance than just the countryside or older towns.

But I'm still pumped for this. Will definately see it in theatres.

Anyone else mainly disappointed that they didn't play the theme?
