I gotta admit. I hope it's not "Gozer Revenge part 2" and there's a new ghost/villain or something.



I'm sure if Sony wasn't dealing with Kevin Feige they would also totally spoil the returning Spider-man too

Just spoiling because that trailer is really more spoilery than I feel comfortable openly talking about.

But, yeah, its Gozer. They even recreate the damn temple at the end of Ghostbusters 1. Hell, the mom is in a similar outfit to Dana. The comparisons of this to TFA is going to be fascinating.
 
This looks wonder. Good to know about this film. I hope Chris Hemsworth appears as his secretary character! He was so funny in the prior movie

Actually, Gozer coming back makes perfect sense. The original movie never said they destroyed him. They just blew up the gateway and Mr. Stay Puft. I can believe Gozer found a way to come back.

Uhhhhh, why WOULD he be in this? Reubens doesn't have any real connections to Ghostbusters to my knowledge and I don't ever recall him being rumored to be in this. Are you sure you're not getting him mixed up with Rick Moranis? If so, then no, Lewis was never going to be in this. DANA, however, we KNOW is going to appear. She's the one character the promos haven't hinted at or shown. Probably going to be a cameo at least.
 
Trailer looks good. I have been disappointed so many times with films in the past 5-10 years so I really hope this one is good.
 
It really sad that they could not get Hemsworth or even Kate Mckinnon. Both were too funny in prior movie!
 
LOL. I am sure fans of the 2016 can rewatch that , If they miss those characters.

Shandor...


The original idea the gang behind the scenes had was NOT a hot Euro dancer to play the final boss. The original initial form was supposed to be Evo Shandor who gets mentioned in the movie as the head of the Gozer cult that built Dana's apartment and Shandor was going to be played by...

Paul Reubens. Those folks ran in the same circles and it was supposed to be that the destroyer of the world shows up... And it's Pee Wee or at least a human form like Reubens who looks so unassuming.

Reubens is still kicking and we can see clearly by now that we are dealing with something connected to Gozer again. Seems like casting Paul in some capacity would be the kind of thing would be the type of move this would make even if it's just flashbacks or showing historical photos or the like.

I don understand this reference video? Is this from GB2? What has J Riteman done compared to Paul Feig. Paul Feig has super credits, large success Imdb list and in his so many interview he speaks about how naturally funny and hilarious the 2016 cast was. I just hop this new one is loud, fun, and light, with similar loud hyper-comedy as 2016.

i hop all who see teh new film enjoying it! Great we get new GB movie but sad it try to ignore eventful 2016 oroginal film
