I say give Valerie Loureda a call if they want to use another MMA fighter. She’s besties with Demi Lovato, so I doubt she’s a Nazi. No idea if she can act, but that didn’t stop Disney from casting Gina.

I now want a scene where a recast Cara is walking down the street with Ahsoka and Gorgurt, and Gorgurt says something which Ahsoka has to interpret. Ahsoka explains that Gorgurt thinks she is looking cooler and better then ever.

Her story has room for an interesting angle, a rebel shock trooper disillusioned by the Rebel War who has Survivor's Guilt? I'm sure there's plenty to mine from a survivor of Alderaan.

Plus its an opportunity for another actress.

I'm not opposed to a recast. I just think they would probably see it causing more drama than the character's worth.

As much as I did like the character I was never in support of Gina Carano's views and honestly she has no one else to blame for this but herself so good riddance.

I don't even think they need to recast her either. Just make more room for Katee Sackhoff or even Rosario Dawson if they decide to bring her character back for the third season.

I liked Bo-Katan and Ahsoka Tano more anyways and wanted to actually spend more time with them and maybe we will finally get that now that Cara Dune is gone.

While I agree, the more Bo and Sasha's character, the better. They serve a bit of a different purpose on the show then Cara did. Not saying they can't write their way around that, but even if they don't recast they might need a different character then Bo or Sasha's Mando. Same with Ahsoka and Fennic.

They should do what Supergirl did to Dean Cain’s character after he outed himself as a nutty Trumper and kill her character off-screen.

I can’t imagine Mando season 3 being too shook up by this. After that finale it seems like we’re moving into the realm of the show being focused more on the struggle for Mandalore and Din’s place among his own people, which would render Cara’s role somewhat irrelevant.

Nah, she's not an essential character to the story - just someone Mando has called for help a couple times. So I'd imagine he just...will call other people for help from now on, lol.

They could easily say she just signed up with the Republic military and is off wherever, considering that’s the arc they were obviously setting up for her anyway.
