Williams would do well as the Ventriloquist. A super-hairy Ventriloquist, but make'em look the way he did in One Hour Photo, and ****, that'd be one creepy freak/mob boss.

That said, though, while I can't see him pulling off a leading role, I can see him at least getting a brief cameo, the upcoming re-reboot would make that possible.

I wouldn't want him in a major role, but I could see him as a smaller side villain like Ventriloquist or maybe Mad Hatter.

I never wanted him to be The Joker. He isn't physically right for it at all.

He's a great and unique actor. He's proven to work well under Nolan. I say "yes".

He could play any role he needed to. Someone said a doctor at Arkham. I could definitely see that.

I voted no. Nolan uses the same actors in all his films. Unless their a huge Hollywood name. I don't find Robin Williams to be that great a talent. Maybe it's just me. But, Nolan could do better.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind Robin Williams as anything - he knows how to act that's for sure! I'm liking the idea of Penguin however..but any role really.

now black mask or Dr. strange, that he could do. neither one has to be terribly physical (except when strange thinks he's batman)
they're both cerebral villians, and he could own that. I would love to see it, to the point i may suggest a pettition

seriously... i know its a cliche choice by now but he genuinely looks the part if you follow a certain artistic style of Nygma from the books. Robin has that quality as well where he can be overly maniacal and comedic, slightly comedic or very dramatic.

He has the acting chops!

Williams would be a stunning Ventriloquist. I also wouldn't mind seeing Penguin or Mr. Freeze after playing Arkham City (post-Nolan just to be clear). Hope it happens.
