You know, because a straight masculine woman can't exist without being a lesbian or trans. Blech. So happy this train wreck will be over this season

Way to utterly ruin Beiste. The beautiful thing about her was she was a feminine woman with masculine traits that bucked the idea of what made a woman a woman and struggled with loving herself because of that.

I thought when her marriage was over she had finally learned to accept to love herself and then when she began to register for online dating I simply thought she would come to find someone who would love her and find herself as beautiful as she had come to love herself.

And the show has a transsexual character in Unique? She's coming back in I think episode 6 or 7? Why not give this plot line to her?

Yeah, that completely goes against what they were doing with the Bieste character for the last couple of seasons. Not sure what message Ryan Murphy is trying to convey.

You know Glee always trying to hit people over the head with having acceptance and being about "freaks". The current episode they are filming has like 100 transgendered extras.

Like Bill said, way to completely ruin Beiste. Apparently Ryan couldn't let the show end without turning Beiste into another stereotype like he does to every character.

lol wow. And I am pretty sure that Brittana are getting hitched around ep 7/8/9. Also Emma is back.

Ryan Murphy just loves LGBT characters. And he will utilize any and every way possible to inject them into Glee storylines.

I'm so ready for my need to watch this show to be over. Just sooooo ready.

I don't think I have even sat through an entire episode in a long time. I usually just watch the musical performances on youtube the next day. I'm more interested in that than the actual character storylines.

im not entirely convinced Ryan Murphy does much for the show these days.. When he tries.. he's brilliant. But I think he himself has been "over" glee for quite a while. He's still the spokesman but... I really don't see his touch on the show anymore.

Why do I have the feeling that they are going to have Santana/Brittany get married in the choir room or auditorium?

Since when has that stopped Glee from doing what it wants?

Even the music aspect of the show sucks now. 80% of the time, the song choice is just not good, and 100% of the time, they don't do anything interesting with it.

That's true. I really hate how they rip off the music videos of the artists they cover. It started to really annoy me with season 4 when the new cast did that.

They are just so lazy now. All they do is have them run around the stage and practically free style. I don't know why they made a big deal about the Kitty character having to be able to dance when they never even showed off her skills.

I just realized how little I've been missing this. I mean, I kind of already knew because I stopped watching several episodes before the finale, but still... this is the first time the show isn't airing during the fall season and I don't miss it a bit. In fact, it'll probably be a chore once it gets back. I'm tired of it and can't wait till it's gone, but I'm in too deep to not check out how it ends.

Is there a moment where glee fans acknowledge that shark jumpage occurred?

Same. I'll tune in even though I don't want to see Blaine dating Karofsky, Kurt dating a 50 year old man, Sue hypnotizing Sam, or Beiste getting a sex change.

They could've just ended the show at season 5, and I would've been able to live with it. I mean, sure, a planned ending is nice and it gives the writers a chance to end on a high note, but really, all signs are pointing to this season not coming anywhere NEAR what I would consider a high note, so. :o

To think...... all of this crap could've been avoided if they:

A) Had the show end along with the graduation of the original New Directions.

B) Had Glee continue, but without any of the original ND characters (other than those yet to graduate).

Or

C) Go with the best option at the time (and what everyone expected and wanted) at the time of the ND graduation, and created a spinoff focusing on the original ND, primarily Rachel and Finn. And have the original Glee continue with a whole new cast of students.
