Glee Episode V: The Sylvester Strikes Back - - - - - Part 14

Given the cut down number of episodes this season, I kind of wonder what season 6 will look like. Unless they pick up in a big way by the end of the season, I doubt they'd go back up to 22 episodes again.

I can't imagine what would pick Glee up by this point. Even the decent episodes get abysmal ratings.

They should've just kept it on Thursdays or never moved it in the first place. And now there is a rumor that FOX may be cutting 2 episodes so they can have a 24 episode Season 6.

I honestly can't see that being the case with the numbers they're pulling in. I just can't conceive of the guys at FOX looking at the ratings and saying "Sure, lets sign on for 24 weeks of that."

I mean they gave them a 2 season deal even though ratings werent anything to write home about last season

Last season finished with 5.9 million. This season, they haven't gotten over 3 since the s***ty Christmas special. Not even the 100th episode, which should've been a huge draw for fans.

Well apprently with them good ol' dvr ratings, they are gaining 3-4mill viewers

I have to laugh at people who still act like Kurt is some flaming ball of fire and Blaine is somehow "straight acting". It's like, where have you been since Season 2? Blaine passed Kurt by on the flame-o-meter a while ago.

I actually like the way Kurt's style has evolved and grown more mature and sophisticated. It still feels like Kurt, but a more mature Kurt. Blaine on the other hand de-evolved from seeming classy mature and sophisticated into a hideously dressed man-child.

"a powerful New York socialite intent on turning recent Big Apple transplant Blaine into a superstar."

It's so silly how easily things fall into these kids laps.

Well, it's Blaine, what do you expect?

Never been exclusive to Blaine. :o

Go figure. When is Santana going to get an actual storyline and big name for multiple episodes?

I thought Tina wasn't even real. Isn't she just a ghost that lived in the McKinley looking for acceptance?

She was indeed a poltergeist, but it wasn't acceptance she was looking for.

Maybe when Tina comes to Funny Girl's opening night, she'll go into one last jealous weepy meltdown and finally choke to death on her own tears.

It is, but I feel like she's at least putting a decent amount of effort in on her end. This whole Shirley MacLaine thing sounds like Blaine just happens to be walking down the street, Shirley sees him, points and says "I'm going to make you famous" and everything from then on is just sort of sunshine and roses for him.

I wouldn't call doing a Babs impression at a huge Broadway audition "effort."

"We need drama between Sam and Mercedes. How do we accomplish this?... Oh, I know, lets take away any and all of his social skills."
"So that's what drives them apart?"
"No no no, it's gonna be the race issue, but still... gotta make him super awkward."

Oh, Glee...

And also, thanks Rachel, for negating all the **** I said about you a few hours ago. :o

Were they smoking crack writing this episode? It is pretty bad when I enjoyed Rachels little subplot the most. EVERYTHING thing else was BEYOND HORRIBLE and RIDICULOUS.

Whenever, if ever I rewatch this season, I will be skipping over this episode it was that much of a hot mess.

I'm contemplating if I should just skip the next episode because this show is to boring without Santana dishing out the realness. Why in the hell would Rachel and Blaine think they could do a duet together? Stupid people.

The context was dumb, but in and of itself, I liked Rachel and Blaine's number. They sing well together.

The episode wasn't THAT bad, Primal. :o

This show will end with all of these characters fulfilling their dreams within the next year. See kids! If you go to New York things will just fall into to your lap! Rachel quitting NYADA? Dumbest thing she's done yet and she's racking them up. Her character deserves a punch at least twice an episode.
