Yeah, but presumably, there will be more monsters than just the two of them because let's be honest here. A Godzilla vs. Kong movie with nothing else could be kinda boring.

The GvK synopsis implies Kong and Godzilla duking it out won't be the only plotline in the movie.

No. Anyone remember the movie leak, the plot leak by fake? It's been discussed over at Toho Kingdom, and he made many claims about the movie, and describes scenes from the movie that turned out to be in the trailer yesterday. He described these months ago. So, the entire plot is available on Toho Kingdom, and it's legit. There's no Biollante in this movie unless it's a small cameo and one of the monsters that wasn't finished in terms of CGI.. but don't count on Biollante

Having read the leaked plot..every guess about the movie in here, from the plot, to the monsters, to the Godzilla-Ghidorah fights are off.

Film execution is important, but the plot is straitfoward, should be a really fun movie

It's got the four main monsters from G:KOTM.

Two of my favorite shots from the trailer. I cannot believe they have succeeded in making Mothra look so...formidable. Lethal. Badass.

I can't wait for this movie. As a G-fan since the '70s, this looks to be the zenith of the genre. Possibly.
