If WB and Legendary market this thing right then it will blow the doors of the box office. There’s no way these posters, great trailers and stuff like this doesn’t get the attention of the general audience.

This movie should be marketed as an event. Making good use of the scale of this movie, the monsters, the battles... to really convey the magnitude of the movie.

Also this should be heavily marketed for IMAX screens. It’s one of those movies that people should see in the biggest screen possible providing the CGI is great and the movie isn’t too dark so people are able to distinguish stuff and really appreciate it.

Agreed, if they keep the marketing strong and consistent from now till May, I think the movie will do well. Hopefully it'll make more money than the last one. I have faith. Mike Dougherty has already said they're focused on bringing more action, holding nothing back.

Yeh I’m pretty sure it will do more than Godzilla 2014 (530M). Much more. I think it will likely double that.

I liked the Godzilla 2014. I even prefer it to the new Kong: Skull Island. Godzilla 2014 was good for what it was. This Godzilla: KOTM is a unleashed version of the previous movie. It looks like balls to the wall crazy stuff and I am all for it.

That Rodan poster is amazing! I have to say that everyone's favorite giant pteranodon is probably my favorite of the monster designs. They all look good IMO, but they REALLY nailed it with Rodan.

I was actually talking about this particular shot. To me here in this close up it looks VERY fake. But different views I guess.

But the film itself looks like tons of fun...and destruction.

The more I watch Godzilla 2014 the more I appreciate the different perspectives/viewpoints we got of Godzilla, e.g. from inside a school bus, from bystanders looking up, etc. There is also great attention to detail. Gareth Edwards & team did a great job. I hope such level of detail is not missed in KoTM because there are more monsters and characters now.

Yea if we're holding Rodan to realistic standards, neither he nor Ghidorah would be able to fly, and Godzilla would crush himself to death under his own weight.

Rodan looks like they took the Showa, Heisei and Final Wars design and threw them in a blender and out came the most perfect quintessential Rodan design. I don't think anything could top this design. This is the Final Form.

It's my favorite design as well. Love Rodan. I just have a thing for fiery monsters/beasts. The Balrog, Drogon, Surtur, now Rodan has also made the cut.

Seconded. I'm way more fired up about this movie than Endgame. I'll be downright shocked if asses aren't in seats everywhere for GKOTM.
