The monsters look incredible and we just get glimpses of them.
The real deal will likely be some pretty epic stuff.

HOLY. That was amazing. I just love the somewhat fantastical nature of it.

Quick, someone try to zoom in on that painting underwater to identify the titans.

I agree the fantastical nature, the visuals. The music. That was simply beautiful.

Wow... Okay... Not at all what I was expecting in tone or story but... Yeah the hype is real.

Vera as a messianic extremist, Millie seeming to be the POV character we are rooting for, Dance coming off as he always does as a formidable presence.


I am guessing Vera gets control of all the Kaiju at some point. The Big G is definitely gonna be in hero mode with a seeming joint attack with military forces.

They made some bold choices here and it worked for me. Hail the King baby!

Wow. That makes my day. I'm so incredibly happy with that trailer. KOTM looks magnificent.

One thing to note is that Daugherty didn't go the K:SI route of a fun monster brawl. At-least from this trailer, KOTM seems to continue the rather somber, serious atmosphere of the 1st one and I absolutely love this decision. I hope the tone of this movie is closer to Godzilla 2014 than K:SI and so far so good.

I kinda hope there is no happy ending for Vera and Millie. I mean... Your mother unleashes civilization destroying beasts... That's not something you just brush off.

This film has to really flesh out Monarch now as they must be on the front lines along with the military in responding to all this madness.
