I also have Godzilla vs. Biollante it sticks out because I guess a different company put it out.

Yeah, that one was put out by a much smaller company that does a lot of Asylum like movies. It's odd that they randomly had one of the more sought after Godzilla films for a time, LOL
Godzilla vs Megalon and destroy all monsters seemed to have been released by different companies too.
Anyone here see Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters on Netflix? That's the 1st of the anime Godzilla trilogy. I just saw it but wasn't the biggest fan. I dug everything about Godzilla in it and also the basic premise, but the problem was the humans. Especially the lead character. I have no problem with there not being too much Godzilla but this character's constant whining really got on my nerves.
I am a Heisei era fan mainly, and I am happy to have all of them. Return of Godzilla is one of my favorite films in the series, but I am probably happiest I have Godzilla vs Biollante not so much due to its quality (I actually like Return of Godzilla more), but more so due to how insanely rare that movie is at this point. That movie always goes OOP quickly, so I am glad I got the Blu Ray when I did last time.
i may not bother with the 2nd and 3rd then. I really wanted the humans to die there. I just ask that the humans not annoy me in a Godzilla movie. If the G Man isn't going to be in it much, then i rather the humans be bland than annoying.I was honestly let down by that whole anime trilogy. The characters are not interesting nor serviceable in any way, and there are way. Too. Many. Exposition scenes that go on and on.
They prioritized the humans over the kaijus to such an astonishingly extreme degree.
Has anyone seen the Mothra trilogy from the 90s and if so, are they any good?
