Godzilla vs Kong (2021)

Dude, the looks he is giving her in those scenes were both creepy and hilarious. My wife walked in on me watching it on HBO Max about 20 mins in and she finished the movie with me and the baby. Her creeped out expressions made it such an enjoyable experience!

I also re-watched 70s Kong on HBO Max last week for the first time in awhile and agree with your assessment. I found Kong hilarious.

Also, Jessica Lange was such a smokeshow in that.

GvK in the 80s would've been nightmare fuel for yours truly. I mean imagine this:

I would shudder.

As silly as this sounds been seeing a lot of memes for this. Making me starting to think WB is going the Netflix route and doing some viral marketing

Heisei era Goji films are honest when I got REALLY into Godzilla aside from the Cartoon Network cartoon, I grew up watching the Showa era films on TNT when they had a monster movie weekend but after playing Super Godzilla on SNES I HAD to get the VHS of the Heisei films. Theyve since been lost but I'll never forget geeking out over them after starting with Godzilla 1985 which my mom rented for me.

I remember getting the Godzilla Compendium. I believe it was released before the Heisei films were actually released, I think. That definitely introduced me to the Heisei films. That and the Trendmasters toys.

I think the budget cuts show the end result

Kong/Optimus Primal wielding Stormbreaker had me rolling.
