I guess I'm going to have to be the guy that asks...What are you guys talking aboot? :oldrazz:

Does anyone think that Michael sounds like Robert Patrick?

Some of those voices sound reeeeeealy familiar. I'm trying to find info on the voice actors but there's nothing really out there.

Anybody else get a breaking bad vibe from the meth talk and the train scene?

I wouldn't expect to find any recognisable names for the main cast. There will probably be a name or two when it comes to the odd supporting actor, radio dj's or if they have comedians again, but Rockstar have stated they don't want to have their games filled with known stars.

I'd expect a ton of BB references. That show is like something Rockstar would have came up with if they made TV shows instead of video games.

Trevor's voice sounds very familiar....I can't place it.

The young guy & the old guy seem really cool, not sure about middle age guy. He seems like a dick & he dresses like a bum. :oldrazz:

It's GTA..It's natural to have a crazy jerk,And you can change his cloths

Didn't an article from one of these magazines state that they had Breaking Bad influences in there? I could be wrong but I thought I heard that.

Please have a cameo from Gale: ;)

Was watching the trailer discussion on the IGN app on the 360 and they all thought it felt "Breaking Badish" at times.

It's nice with small references here and there like the RV looking similar to Walt and Jesse's but since Dan himself doesn't watch much shows as not to be influenced by them I wouldn't expect much.

Shows as in only tv? Because most of the prior GTA are chalk full of pop culture references and influences.

These guys are big into research i'd find it a bit hard to believe if there is a meth subplot or aspect to the game as hinted by the trailer, they wouldn't check out BB.

Yeah TV, for Dan it's because of professional reasons.

I haven’t seen “Treme.” I never even saw “The Wire.” One of my weird disciplines is that I don’t really watch a lot of those shows, if they relate to what we do. I only watched a tiny bit of “The Sopranos.” No “Boardwalk Empire.” No “Breaking Bad.” Wherever it’s too close to crime, gangster, underbelly fiction, and it’s supercontemporary, I decided, for professional reasons, I have to avoid it.

Course that doesn't rule out other references slipping by via commercials, dialogue etc.

That's a weird comment to make seeing all the movie references they throw in their games. Not to mention where do you think they got the name "Vice City"?..cough miami vice cough...

Maybe he considers tv shows like that competition to video games?

I don't think he doesn't like them, I think it's more of not wanting to be heavily influenced by them, knowingly and unknowingly. It's more of a choice for himself to distance the current gen GTA games from the previous gen where they wear its influences on its sleeves, also since there's tons of people working over at R* and Dan can't control everything surely those that have seen BB and all other shows can implement references in some capacity so no worries.

I've been reading comments on Rockstar's Facebook page and especially on the post of the new trailer,All day there's been tons of people b*tching about the graphics and I really don't get why,Compare GTA IV photos&videos to GTA V's side by side and look at things from details in the environment to vehicles to character model and there's a clear difference!!!

Not just is GTA V's graphics obviously improved from IV But they seem to fail to realize that V's world is way bigger and tons of new additions has been made and it all takes a toll on graphics!

A lot of PC gamers are pissed that the game won't be released on PC so far and I can understand that But some are dissing the graphics on the consoles and calling it generic&lame..Why are graphics so f'n important?I thought what made games good&fun was the gameplay

I hope they bring in a Tuco like character, that'll be cool to see. It's like Brucie x100.

LOL. Welcome to the PC vs Console fanboy war.

I know one person who used to post on this site's forums long ago who loathed consoles But I didn't know there are many are others like him out there,I know computers are more powerful But they act as IF the Xbox&PS3 are worse than a Wii!!

I don't play on PC cause my computer ain't capable of playing all the new big games But IF it did then I'd play on it and still use my 360/PS3&even my Vita

Man, I swear Rockstar always has some good songs for their GTA trailers. That Stevie Wonder really got me in the mood, and it went with the game very well. When the song mentioned skeletons in a closet, it got me to thinking that the main character has done some things in his past that he's not proud of.

I prefer the dark gritty atmosphere of IV, but the gameplay looks intriguing.

Is there a song list of the ones that will be in the game yet?

Vice City had the best music. I love the 80's! :woot:
