This is a thread to document great online moments you have had. If there is a thread alreadt like this, please merge it (but I didn't see one).
I'll go first:
Madden '09 (XBOX 360)
I just played this game too. I picked the Broncos, and then to my dismay, my opponent picks, the Patriots. I get the ball first, and throw a pick on a slant route first play. He gets a FG. I tie it next drive. In the 2nd qtr, he scores a TD on a run where Maroney broke 5 tackles. On the ensuing kickoff, I lose a fumble! He gets a TD. I am now down 17-3.
In the 2nd half, he gets the ball first. Gets a FG. I'm down 20-3. I get into the red zone on me ensuing drive, only to not convert on a 4th down. At this point, I offer a friendly quit. I'm getting crushed, and want to play a game I may win. He refused.
Good thing he did. Brady throws an INT to my safety. I drive down, and score a TD on a Selvin Young run. I go for two (in the moment, it felt right), and Cutler scrambles for it. Now 20-11. He goes 3 and out. I get it at mid-field, and I throw a deep bomb to Marshall for a TD (Marshall injured on play). Now it is 20-18! To my dismay, he starts driving on me. When it seems I can't stop him, my safety jumps in front of Moss to nab another pick! By the 2:00 warning I am at mid-field. I get into a 4th and 1, he runs an eight man blitz, I throw to Young. Runs to the 25. From there, I milk the clock to 3 secs, and kick a FG as time expires.
Final score: Broncos 21, Patriots 20
