I basically want a 7'-7'4" Thanos. To put that in perspective.

6'2"-6'3" Triple H, next to 7'1"-7'2" Great Khali. That'll give you a scale of how I want Hemsworth and Evans to stack up to Thanos.

That can't be done with an actor in prosthetics. Your casting pool is too small if you're using "Only actors over 7'."

And for the record, I'm not advocating wrestlers...I'm just using that for a scale model of how tall I want Thanos to be.

Exactly how I am feeling, I hope Thanos is comfortable taller, and bulkier than thor. To me, that seems kind of hard to do with just camera tricks, I'd say prosethetics and Mo Cap

This is totally OT, but what the hell is going on with that dude's chin? He looks like what you'd get if Bruce Campbell and a Frost giant banged out a baby. Jeez!

Rooker could not ever play thanos. Voice is all kinds of wrong. I dont see why people want him for rocket either

Adam Sandler might not be up for Groot or Rocket.. Cosmo has been hinted to by James Gunn before when he tweeted this dog space suit image.. I think Sandler as a talking Russian space dog could be fun.. my money is on Cosmo not Rocket.. Carrey on the other hand could be Rocket and the reason they're being connected for comedic roles there are some funny exchanges between Rocket and Cosmo..

I agree.
If the original (31st century) GOTG ever join the MCU, I'd prefer that they save them for a prospective GOTG2.

As for the Facebook thing: I don't think the fact that Gunn "liked" the dude's nostalgia post indicates anything more than he appreciates the dude's appreciation.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe Facebook page is saying that if there source was right about the IM3 poster and Super Bowl preview being released today, they will be posting a GOTG casting scoop they received from that same source.

The IM3 poster/ SB preview was reported long before the MCU Facebook page did. The source is on Boxoffice.com forums. Of course, if it's indeed true, I could imagine multiple sources hearing the same thing. I've been a little skeptic about that FB page for a while though

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY casting continues! We have heard exclusively that casting for Gamora is underway, with actresses Adrianne Palicki (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines), Moon Bloodgood (Terminator Salvation), Rachel Nichols (G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra), and Rosario Dawson (Sin City) in the running to play the character. These actresses are not necessarily on Marvel's radar, but they are going to audition. Which of these actresses would you cast as Gamora?
