My dad took me and my younger siblings to see Blade when I was 6.

It wasn't tight. Kept getting harassed by this old woman behind us. It prompted my dad to stop booking seats in front of people.

Your dad's a hero.

Kids need to experience extreme violence and language in movies, it makes them more powerful than you can ever imagine. Maybe not sex stuff though -- that just... ****s them up in the head somehow.

Already watched it here at a preview screening which I won a ticket for in IMAX Sydney, Australia(Sans the end credits scene as they said that they want to have the movie make money here. So if we want to see the end credits scene we have to go watch it again and pay for it like everyone else :()

It was definitely better than I expected. I got a really Marvelous Action Adventure movie in Space and the humour was used just the way I like it, that is it is used when the scene actually calls for it :). If you didn't like how the comedy was in Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World then you'll like Guardians of the Galaxy.

10/10

Is there a review and poll thread yet? If so it should be stickied, plenty of people have seen it already.

Preferably a "NO DISCUSSION" thread. Sometimes the thread moves so fast that I don't even get my vote in before the poll is closed. lol

And this is another reason Chris Pratt is so awesome. Agent M just tweeted that Pratt went to a charity screening of GotG for kids and didn't leave until he took a selfie with every kid that wanted one. So awesome

Apparently one of the credit scenes has leaked. This is where I tap out. No more twitter/CBM/anything but maybe the review thread here. See ya on Saturday night.

A good man. :yay:

Ah I know! This will be the first marvel movie where I don't know what the credits scenes are. lol

I couldn't resist, had to watch it

it made me happy

Considering it will be about 24 hours before I will see this I'd rather leave the stingers as a surprise for me. Haven't spoiled myself too much with this film like I usually do for the MCU but I'm still pumped up as hell to see it. I may make the pilgrimage to see this in IMAX 3D soon too, was talking to my buddy about him and his kid doing that soon

I'm guessing the leak came from an overseas print. Because it comes out on July 31 in some countries, so some prints are probably already getting ready and even possibly screened for employees.

Same here. The last thing I watched was the "I have part of a plan" clip and that's it.

I dunno, they sounded like Americans. They were cheering at the end of it, it was pretty blatant what they were doing so much be employees.

The Endless. I used to work at a movie theater and new movies would be screened to employees for the night before. So if you figure that the film gets some early or midnight screenings tomorrow, it could've come from a US print as well then.

But when I would go to employee screenings, we would still cheer and make noise and stuff.

sounds like its a comedic scene like Iron man 3 and not a story advancing scene.

I spoiled myself silly for Cap 2 (though it didn't in any way affect my enjoyment at the theatre), but I'm saving myself for Guardians after hearing all the early reviews comparing it in tone to, variously, Star Wars, Back to the Future and Ghostbusters, even The Last Starfighter!

I want to be surprised again at the movies.

I think I've only watched the "I have part of a plan!" clip a few hundred times… I'm totally fine with not seeing anything else until Sunday! IMAX baby!

BTW, thank you to everyone not posting what the post-credit scene is. Apparently Vulture, living up to their name appropriately, made an entire article of it with video. So… just beware :)

Good on Marvel, they've already gotten a lot of the leaks taken down. Unfortunately, the description of it has already been revealed.

Why does every single idiot who records one of these things have to inject their stupid faux-excited "ooooooh!" at the end?

Because they want attention that is deserved of them. :o

Just to be clear it's the post-credit scene and not the mid-credit scene, right?
