It's strange to think that Star-Lord was a character before Han Solo.

I write a lot, and watch far too many movies. So don't worry. This is definitely a me thing.

Also I realize this makes it seem like I don't really like the movie. That is definitely not my intention. It is almost like I need to acknowledge what I feel is wrong, before I accept it and enjoy a film for what it is, even my absolute favorite films. Does that make sense?

Yea so far it's mainly been lip service. I did like him in this film, but there is a risk Marvel is being a bit too cute with him. They need to do something big with him soon or when he eventually turns up in A3 it could be anti-climatic.

I wouldn't even mind a film based on Thanos Quest.

Thanos needs a substantial part in GotG 2 and a big scene in another Phase 3 film before A3.

Actually now that I think about it, considering there very well could be 6 Phase 3 films before A3, I think each mid-credit scene should be Thanos collecting a Stone, other then GotG2, where he would do it in film.

I do like that right after Ronan went [BLACKOUT]Sith on The Other[/BLACKOUT], Nebula warned Ronan he didn't have a chance against her dad.

Honestly, I don't know what to expect at this point. Though I wouldn't count it out.

Saw this last night... Still mostly speechless. I was expecting it to be good, but it was an excellent film. Probably in the top three Marvel films.

Not at all. Because it really was. It was beautiful. I didn't care for some of the alien designs, but cinematography wise it was the best looking CBM I've seen. There's one shot of Gamora, [BLACKOUT]where she's floating in space[/BLACKOUT], that was gorgeous.

The Other was no where near as cool as he was in Avengers lol, def wasn't Alexis playing him, but he was a throwaway in this, but I guess now we know he is not anyone from the comics lol
