The Other was no where near as cool as he was in Avengers lol, def wasn't Alexis playing him, but he was a throwaway in this, but I guess now we know he is not anyone from the comics lol

I'd have to look at the credits again to see if it was him. I'm glad he came back though! Albiet, briefly.

Think of The Other as the Mouth of Sauron. In Avengers, we needed him to mask Thanos as the mastermind, and he couldn't speak for himself because we didn't know who would play him. Now we do. So the purpose of The Other is no longer required. Notice right after Ronan kills him, Thanos turns around and speaks for himself. It is a passing of the torch moment. We no longer need the messanger.

True. I just kinda wish they kept the same voice. It sounded so menacing in Avengers and here is sounded kinda silly. But, very minor complaint.

I still can't get over how awesome everyone in this movie is. Now that I have had time to sleep on it I def rank this ever so slightly above TWS but it's mostly due to personal taste since I grew up in the 80's and loved SW and space epic movies. The comdey had me and my friends dieing with laughter in all the right spots yet from the get go Gunn had me with the scene with Quill's mom. Like I said previously the 3D was amazing, I don't think I've ever seen post done so well. Really can't wait to see it again, def want to try and see it in IMAX 3D

That sucks! I saw it with a packed theater and the cheering and the laughs definetely improves the experience.

Since I will definitely be seeing this at least twice, I like the idea of watching with an enthusiastic crowd on opening night. Wanna repeat that Avengers vibe if possible. 2nd viewing so I can catch all the stuff I missed.

Personally I didn't mind that Ronin [blackout] killed the Other [/blackout]. It was a shocking moment, but it showed what a bad ass he is.

Good news, just checked and as of right now there are no bootleg cams up on the major torrent sites right now. This is def a movie people are going to want the theater experience for though and most likely the 3D since it is so awesome. I'm sure the WOM for this thing will be something truly great
