It could very well be them, it just doesn't look like Gamora(and it's possible they could be trying something new for her) to me, and now I see the faceplate on the back of that guy's head. That is probably Quill, and if the other one is Gamora then Marvel needs to go back to the drawing board for her.

You're normally good with this stuff, so I'll take your word for it.

We know she's green from what was shown at SDCC last year. The colors just might be off in the pic.

Looking at all the concept art gets me excited picturing what the movie could be like. Then I remember Chris Pratt is starring as Star-Lord and get even more excited.

No matter how many times I look at it that image with the ships gets me so pumped. Those look freaking beautiful. I'd sing the praises of Marvel if they could really pull all that off with CG in the movie. I mean, I can't think of a movie where we've seen beautiful, gigantic cruise ships like that in a tropical atmosphere. Also, the pic of Star-Lord and Ship. Jesus, this movie is going to look so beautiful if they can pull it off. There's no way the budget for this is any less than $220m though.

I love the Rocky concept art. He looks like a real raccoon instead of a cartoon talking animal. They're on the right track in making him not obviously cute since he's supposed to be a badass. The plush Rockets will be adorable enough, I'm sure.

What? He does look cute, and cuter than I imagined he would be. He also kind of looks a bit like a muppet, which is cool.

No guarantee that's Gamora, that might just be some random alien chick in a bar, if it was some random alien guy you wouldn't bat an eyelid, but because its what appears to be female you assume its Gamora.

I doubt marvel would abandon their own design that much for a main character
but hey, maybe you're right and they think they have too many green people already

This has always been my worry. But then Prometheus was shot for 130 mill and that movie was terrific visually, and had more expensive actors than GOTG will probably have. I'm hoping they can keep the budget between 150-180 mill

I've always kept this to myself because I knew I'd be beaten with sticks but, I thought the ideal way to adapt Rocket in this film is to not literally make him a raccoon but some furry creature resembling one, I was just worried people would immediately not give this a chance because of ...a talking raccoon, but I trust Marvel.

Edit: That being said I actually do know people who are turned off of the idea of a talking raccoon from space, including co-workers, they make fun of me for defending it but I tell them to just give it a chance lol
