When the hell are we going to find out who's playing Rocket? C'mon Marvel you're killing me!

Yeah, they're taking too long about it. The last casting announcement was in April. It's May now and filming starts next month. We need more details.

They don't need to cast voice cast right away though. IIRC, Michael Clarke Duncan wasn't cast in GL until near the end of production.

Its a CGI character so they can easily be a month into shooting without having any cast annoucement for the character

Yeah it was bad enough they did that with Jim Phelps in Mission Impossible and the Mandarin in IM3. I don't want a repeat of that in this movie.

if anything it would be a decision of "his" timeline vs this eras gotg. the weird thing is the way time travel gets explained nowadays it wouldn't help yondu really. whatever he does would only create a new timeline with different versions of the people he knew. although, and this is even more confusing. with knowhere he could travel back to his timeline but who knows if any changes would take affect. timetravel is very mind boggling sometimes.

it would be nice if they establish the rules of whether you create alternate timelines, or like the old days you just rewrite history. i'm fine with either scenario as long as it's clear.

i could see Yondu doing the flip thing but only because Anthos is his god and he was heavy into religion....at some point Thanos was found to be Anthos so perhaps Thanos could ruse Yondu into thinking he is doing the right thing....

I want this movie to have stuff in it that is truly new, not a bunch of normal stuff and stuff that is a mix of things that that are ancient.

Saldana was just on the Today show and said she had done a movie speaking English while with an Alien accent any possibility it was GotG? I don't follow her career but that definitely came to mind when she mentioned that

Yeah, joblo has an unnamed source for this, and I have no idea what kind of cred the source has, or what joblo's track record on scoops is. Interesting turn of events if it's true, and it gets me all warm and tingly to know that the Kree will finally get their day in the sun (and all the Captain Marvel/Ms. Marvel goodness *that* brings). And if the Kree are present, can the Inhumans and Skrulls be that far behind?

Really makes me want to re-examine the Ophelia Lovibond casting rumor now. Suddenly I have visions of her playing Crystal.....

I'd say if it's true it means Inhumans getting a Phase III slot is a hell of a lot more likely. Plus, with some speculating that [BLACKOUT]Pierce is a Skrull[/BLACKOUT] in TWS then it could be setting up a Secret Invasion story arc for A2...
