Trailer was lovely though it seemed to have more of a Burton or Januet vibe than Del Toro.

It had a much more whimsy tone than I think I've previously felt from GDT.

So this is the Creature From The Black Lagoon remake basically. I liked how they referenced that by saying the creature was worshiped in the Amazon. He does have the back fins of the creature. The trailer also reminded me a bit of Amélie, now there's a pitch. It's Amélie meets The Creature.
And if they really do have sex, it would be the first interspecies sex scenes since Splice.
