alright thinking about it, it doesn't add up...

simply because he reaction to seeing his hand when in the cell with leech was as if he hadn't seen it for a few decades, you couldn't put into words what it would be like for him to notice that again.

however if his transformation had only happened a few months prior then one wouldn't react that way, even rogue who is unable to touch people didn't overreact when she touched bobby for the first time, she didn't jump on him or kiss him, possibly because the mutation hadn't affected her for a long period of time, couple of years max.

if beast had only turned blue relatively recently, then his reaction to being around leech wouldn't had been anything near as euphoric as it was.

If I had lost my hand in an accident today and got my hand back tommorrow, I think I would have some reaction.

I dont think so. Its a big change, like a burn victim or soemthing seeing an old picture of themself, they take it pretty hard a week or two after it happens. Ive had personal experience with this.
it's hard to make a point when someone has personal experience with something.

however i would like to take this time to hope you are alright and have come over any emotional parts either you or your loved ones have come across.

reaction yes, but not the same reaction....

his reaction was as if he hadn't seen his hand for years and years, you could tell he was dipping into long term nostalgic thoughts back then rather than overcoming a recent trauma.

he also seemed comfortable enough with his self to not wander completely over to leech to get his whole body changed which would be evident i feel of someone who had recently undergone such a change, hank had come to terms with who he was and was completely comfortable with it, such a emotional state takes a long time to come to terms with.

I think that as far as the movies go, being blue is part of Beast's natural mutation, and the blink and you miss it cameo in X2 is simply a minor continuity error, like the continuity errors in the recastings of Kitty Pryde and Pyro, the continuity errors in the different effects for Colossus and Cerebro, and the continuity errors in Storm's accent.

It's minor, and doesn't need 5 pages devoted to *****ing about it.

I don't think that the X2 Beast and the X3 Beast were connected. And I liked the line since it showed that Beast didn't only know Xavier but he used to be an X-Man.

In the comics, Beast wasnt always a furry blue person, he was just a big guy.
