The Dark Knight Harvey Dent/Two-Face Casting Thread

BK posted it a while ago. It's a very good manip, but it's not finished. Two-Face's scarring should be sickening. He should have burn marks, and he should have a chunk flesh missing from his right eye. That looks more like Mel Gibson in The Man Without A Face.

Good manip, though.
thanks for the compliments but i disagree with your opinion...

....this is Batman Begins, not the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. too much eye-candy (even if it's gruesome) can distract from what's really important. i'd rather pay attention to what Harvey ACTS like and SAYS than what's on his face. if you're too busy looking at his face, you might miss important plot points and/or emotions. plus...they still have to keep it pg-13 and this is a good way of making it hideous without pushing it overboard. i sincerely think anything more than what i've manipped would be overkill. especially for a sequel to Batman Begins being directed by Christopher Nolan.

Not sure who made it, but this Joaquin Phoenix manip is how I'd like Two-Face to look like on the big screen (though as you all know, I'd prefer to have Leiv Schreiber) in the role. But this how I want him to look.

i dunno if this has been posted yet and i don't feel like searching the other 11 pages, hehe...if it has, then sorry in advanced. but here's a manip i did in my support of Liev Schreiber as Harvey Dent. i think he's the best choice so far...

Cool manip. I like the different color hair and different color suit/shirt.

Nah...I want a f***ed up face

That would be way to scary for the kids. Dim it down but not so much that it looks like a Tommy Lee Jones do-over. I'd actually like to see the face green as in some of the comics but if they're going for a realistic approach then that won't happen.

I loved Two-Face's look in TAS but a half blue face would just look stupid and corny in a movie, alot like the purple IMO. But that half black half white suit was awsome.

I would like a tamer version of that, the eye is perfect though.

I like Phoenix as a candidate for Two-Face,after seeing "Walk The Line" he really has what it takes.

But that manip with him is way to much,I dont like it.

I like the manip a lot. It might be a bit much though.

It's a strong manip and tends to remind me of some zombie movie.

looking at the cartoon version of two face you know who would be good for Harvey?

the jerk of a husband on Titatnic. who was also on Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight who played the Demon Knight.

I like this manip but the kids would be frightened by a make-up and you have to keep to 12A in UK (PG-13)

I could frankly care less about the little kids who watch the films. Batman is not meant for little kids and the films shouldn't be, either. I understand that a lot of the people who see these films are in the 10 - 13 yeard old age range and probably even a little younger, but you can't just go and please a certain age group. I'd like the next two films to stay as true the comics as possible.

True but Batman is loved by kids as well as adult fans but the movie has to be 12A (PG-13) I doubt WB would do R rated Batman movie with that make- up on Dent, don't get me wrong I would love to see Two-Face like that on movies, I like that manip and I agree with next two films staying faithful to comics.
