The Dark Knight Harvey Dent/Two Face Thread

I've been watching it over and over. It's beautifully constructed. And wonderfully underplayed by the corrupt cop; you can really feel his parylizing fear. I can tell this guy had something to do with Dent being killed or the attempt.

That guys a terrible actor! He sees this...
...and just calmly says "Dent, I thought you was dead?"
???

Terrible delivery!
People who see amputees don't scream in horror.

Everyone who sees that sort of thing tries to act normal. The actor did a great job of having that look of shock, while still trying to maintain normalcy.

Oh, and regarding the Two-Face voice thing.

Remember, the cop addressed HARVEY. Why would Two-Face answer for Harvey? Just becuase the camera panned over to Two-Face's side doesn't mean Two-Face is talking.

I actually don't mind the Joker bit. It's not that busy around where he's standing from what I can remember. Nobody's walking past him, and the people in the cars that are driving by are too busy with their own lives to notice him. I know I wouldn't notice him.

Probably early in the morning on a weekday. Which is why the bank wasn't busy.

lol ok.

I know I would be thinking "Jesus, look at that freak, hes got clown makeup on" then all my friends would stare.:o

Perhaps Two-Face then pulls a coin out in the bar and spins it on the countertop, slams it down, reveals tails, the guy looks up in horror, and we cut to our first FULL GLIMPSE of Two-Face holding a gun at the cop, and then...

BOOM!

I really like that! :yay:

That would rule!

I just listened to it again. I really don't hear the differecne in his voice between this scene and what we've heard in the trailers. Thats definately Eckharts "normal voice".

Maybe there isn't a difference between Two-Face or Harvey Dent, maybe there is. Maybe his voice changes with the personality at hand, maybe it doesn't.

WE DON'T KNOW!

His voice sounds differnet to me.

Good point.

Thats what i'm thinking. In my opinion it's Harvey in that scene not Two-Face.

Which is very smart on the part of Nolan's/the Viral's part. Give us a taste of Harvey AS Two-Face but don't give us Two-Face yet.

Genius.

That is definitely Eckhart's normal voice. And it suits the scene because it's just merely a tease. It's really just Dent in that scene.

Perhaps as the scene progresses, we hear more of Two-Face.

You really cant tell a difference in his voice?

To me it was night and day.

Maybe a little in "Half", but other than that no, I don't hear a significant difference between this qoute or the "Dawn is Coming", "Told me so much about you", "No!" etc. Especially with his deliverance of "Hello".

That really feels like a ending scene to me, but its probably not...

Sorry typo,

agreed that was definately an alterd voice I wouldnt want anything overdone we dont need to be beat over the head with a different vocal tone

i think it would be pretty cool if it was:brucebat:

actually I would love it if it was
less cluttering of stories =a much better film

but the joker's threat is still on, so it can't be the last scene.

Man you can tell that he gets burned as opposed to being splashed with acid with all that blackened and charred skin.
