Relax, it was only a joke. I have read enough of this board to know how strongly others feel about the Joker not being permawhite. I was only saying that there was outrage for a blond Bond and I jokingly suggested that there be the same outrage for a blond Dent. All in good humor.

EDIT: And for the record, I never compared a blond Dent to a non-permawhite Joker...that was you jumping to conclusions.

I wish I could of assumed it was a joke...however on this board I have read more ridiculous things. I am sorry that I misunderstood you - I thought it was more a dig at those upset about a un-permawhite Joker rather than a true parady of the Blond Bond.

Fair enough...it was more a parody of the overreaction regarding all things of that nature. There's absolutely no way to understand how the image or origin of a character will work until it is fleshed out. I think there's a lot more positive feedback regarding the Joker now after seeing Ledger on-screen than there was even a few days before that. I mean, I understand the arguments of all sides, but it's clear that the movie doesn't necessary fall under the same canon as the comics.

I guess I did offhandedly compare the two, so I apologize for that.

i could imagine that two-face starts off as an extreme vigilante, killing and murdering the criminals. Batman will stop him because they're suppose to only bend the law, not break it. This is the break-point of their friend- and partnership.

After that, Two-face will commit number two-themed crimes because he has OCD and needs to pay the bills.

He starts as a "vigilante" and degrades into a straight up villain as his morals continue to decline.

Harvey is confused as being a Catholic like in the main books of the Realm of Centradue. What he tries to do is see what is left for him in order to push into the realm of being the Two people with Multiple faces. Look at the end of the day, being confused as a Catholic he struggles because he finds out that Rachel Dawes is actually a Muslim while he is Catholic. This religious struggle brings him to the point of insanity... who tips the balance?? THE JOKER!! Two Face emerges after Rachel Dawes who forms the significant HALF... THE OTHER OF HARVEY DENT... THE ISLAMIC HALF. After being dropped in the acid he becomes Two Face... The part of him is Catholic and one part of him is Islamic by nature and principle. The idea being he wants to avow revenge on the Joker by waging some form of Mob like CRUSADE... but he doesn't know how since he's a clean DA and not associated with the Mobs. So he struggles with this and cries with baby tears only to find out that his Catholic and Islamic halves MERGE to form a BRUTAL FORCE FOR BATMAN TO DEAL WITH... SETHU SPELLS IT.

Ha ha!! I love this crazy thing on some thinking Rachel is preggy. That never cross my mind at all. I think some might be thinking too much. It probably just the dress. Some dress can give some the "preggy" look with how open it is or how it not skin tight on the body.
