Hawaii Five-O - Part 2

If Liddell wasn't playing himself and the fight wasn't for charity, McGarrett would most likely win.

McGarrett is a Navy Seal, he would win, the liklihood is there wont be a result, something will happen and McGarrett will have to leave mid fight.

So why is this premiering tonight, why not Monday? Are ratings bad for it?

Maybe the show is on its last legs, seeing as this is the typical Friday night death slot.

It's actually a good spot for it since CSI: NY was still getting roughly 10 mil an episode even in it's final couple seasons. The older demos don't help it with advertisers but CBS is going to want to pump out as many episodes for syndication purposes. Plus, it forms a perfect pairing with Blue Bloods.

I am going to give this show one last chance for at least a few episodes. I could easily drop out midseason as I did with Heroes in season three.

They just better tell us already what the connection is between Mama McGarrett and Wo-Fat ASAP.

Still kinda pissed off they went the entire Season 3 and still didn't tell us.

Is the show really close to getting cancelled?

I think the series might be in trouble but not that it's enough to get cancelled yet. Although moving the timeslot doesn't help them any when it's a less than favorable one.

Only as recurring or guest spots probably.

To think that the original H5-0 went for 12 seasons. I don't think this is going to match that run.

Then again, does any live action series go that long nowadays?

I stopped watching H50 after the second season, which is a shame since it used to be one of my favorites and I just love Grace Park as Kono.

Season 3 was crap, but who knows? Season 4 could be a return to form. Being on friday isn't necessarily a death sentence. Blue Bloods has been there going on four seasons now.

Pairing these 2 shows up is probably a good thing for CBS since they are a similar show matter and attract similar audiences.

As for tonight's episode, they finally got around to connecting last season's events in a somewhat cohesive season premiere that looks to have a major continuing part next week. As many have been speculating, it looks like [BLACKOUT]Wo-Fat and McGarrett are going to be half-brothers.[/BLACKOUT] They made the H50 HQ holdup mean something to the Kono/Adam storyline that was hardly ever used last season.

Yeah I did get the sense he was playing it cool on some of the answers, but it was fun talking to him about the show.

Ten, actually.
