Oh, Jesse.

:funny: That dinner scene was so awkward and hilarious.

I dont even think its greed that motivating him. He's all about ego

Walter White's motivation is his feeling of betrayal over what happened with Gray Matter, where he feels he got screwed over, which he's still very bitter about, and he's feeling vengeful about that and refusing to sell his share twice and settle again.

Do you guys think that if the show didnt take over the period of a year that Walt Jr would actually have more to do?

Calling it now-

The deal is a set-up.

Those guys are DEA agents, sent by Hank.

I highly doubt it. Mike knew that guy. Mike vetted even the crew that tents the houses. I doubt he'll do a highly illegal, multi-million-dollar deal with some random guy.

"Holly is gonna get lead poisoning!" Is what I kept thinking to myself during that scene where the 2 women were yakking on about something like they always do.

I kept thinking that baby looks like its going to choke on that bracelet!
Skyler was right she is a bad parent :funny:

Man, seriously thought Walt was going to fist fight Mike and go for his gun and shoot the ol' geezer near the end there. Walt's new plan where they all win better be good because I'm getting sick of new plans prolonging the inevitable. One of, if not all of the main characters are living on borrowed time. I want some conclusions god dammit! Gonna be a hard wait til next year.

You wont get any conclusion till the next year. i assume we will get some sort of blowback in the last episode of the first half, probably someone getting killed? or Hank getting a clue who's Heisenberg...

Episode was fine, i enjoyed the fact that this time Jesse was able to get some glimpse of the new "Walter"...it was clear that Walter didnt care about the dead kid. Nice that Jesse realized that. Even his attempt at home, failed. It was clearly a tactic move by Walter to get Jesse back on his side. Let's see what kind of deal he will propose..

Im telling you, I keep fearing that Mike is going to get axed any moment.

Walt wants to be in the empire business...He should take the $5 million and continue his card wash business lol

The thing with Walter is that he failed so much regarding "Gray Matter". He cant live with the fact that he ****ed up. That's something that has been with him forever. That's why he could not take the money from his former partners. He thought that without him, the company would fall apart. That everything will be gone that he's the key to the success.

That's why he also insulted Jesse so many times in the past, told him not to cook without him. That he's the only one who can cook the "blue meth" and without him, Jesse wont be able to do that. But that's not the case, that's also something Gus Fring realized, it's not magic what Walt does...He's not that special. And in this episode you could see the fear in Walt's eyes. He knew that it's almost over, he even tried a tactic move by inviting Jesse to dinner.

Regarding Mike:
I really hope he survives the first half. Great character but i think Walter will come after him..

Really thought Walt was going to go for Mike's gun. Glad he didn't, because that would not have ended well for him in the slightest.

Maybe that kid is connected to this new character they are selling the methlamine too?

Also I loved how when they were burning the body/bike even Walt had a look on his face like "This is ****ed up"

I just can't get over what Jesse said to Walkt after the "I'm in the empire business" line. He said "Is a meth empire something to be proud of?" Hearing Jesse ****ing Pinkman actually say that was just like WOW. This season hasn't really been exactly what I expected but god damn has it been glorious. The fall of Walter White is going to be the standard of which all future tv character's "falls to the darkside" will be set. Do you guys think that in the end Walt is gonna try redeeming himself at all or do you think he's going out a complete scumbag??

I think he will try to redeem himself but it will be too late and sh** will hit the fan.

i think/hope that Walt will have nothing in the end and not get on the redemption path

Walt's definitely going to make some sort of redemption play, but I have a feeling it's going to be a complete failure. The one thing that'll hurt him the most, his children seeing him for what he truly is (Heisenberg), is going to happen.

Walter really is beginning to slip into Tony Montana territory, I mean the guy has lost it. He thinks he's building an empire, when really the walls are beginning to close in on him, he just can't see it.

Walt, like Tony, seems to think that being a drug kingpin will buy him respect but it won't. It might give him power, but not the kind of power someone can be proud of, that their kids could be proud of.

Hearing Jesse talk about the money Walt originally wanted to make, and his reasons for wanting that money really just hits home how far Walt has fallen into delusion.

I applaud the writers of this show. Every piece of dialogue is perfect.
