Yeah nuff said!

Gwendoline Christie then turns around, laughs maniacally in it's face and the dragon panic-****s all over the hillside and flies off into the distance.

All good and fine except that last bit. That's Dany's schtick.:o

Jaime is a great swordsman, but it takes a long time to learn to use your left hand for menial tasks if youve been right handed your whole life. Now imagine trying to learn to swordfight with your weaker less coordinated hand. He has to start all over, cause his brain is used to everything being right hand oriented. Truth is GRRM will probably kill the guy off before he ever gets good again.

Jaime will be a great leader of men imo, but his days as a force as a swordsman is over.

$29.99 for the Blu-Ray/DVD combo of Season 3?

AND there's another Stark sigil cover?!

**** me, I think I'll take the dive and just get it.

I continue to be in awe at the level of mastery in storytelling at how they managed to go from Jaime-the dude tried to murder an innocent little boy...and easily one of the most vile characters to be introduced to in a pilot episode of anything...to this guy I'm rooting for, and wanted to see survive the end of season 3.

I'd almost say that about Theon/Reek, except by the end of season 3...I was kinda just hoping they'd put him out of his misery already.

I couldn't be more happy with the casting and writing of Jaime on the show. It has been absolutely phenomenal. They have absolutely nailed this aspect of the adaptation.

GRRM has done some great work with Jaime. He became my favorite character in ASOS and AFFC just furthered that. My hope is that if he is killed that he goes out like a hero. If Martin gives him a cheap or meaningless death I may lose my ****.

Jaime is the man. He has surpassed Tyrion as my favorite non-Stark character.

It's a shame as he was supposed to be one of the best if not the best in the whole 7 kingdoms right? Could have got some good scenes out of that against some top opponents later on. And it's a part of his image & unique reputation gone. But yes this character is awesome. Even just as an outright villain at the beginning I thought the actor was amazing, as were all the major Lannisters.

How bad does it suck that Drogo never fought anyone in Westeros

He was probably the best at the start of the series. Selmy is still awesome, but Jaime probably pips him do to age. Loras is another good shout.

Drogo wouldn't last long.

Ah man imagine him against Jaime. Clash of styles. Brutal, destructive Khal Vs supremely elegant master swordsman. :csad:

That's what I mean. A lot of great potential fights. I mean I know GoT isn't really about that but a lot of potential awesomeness vanished with Jaime's hand. Is Jorah Mormont meant to be good. Or that Daario? Was great having Selmy, Grey Worm and them all fighting together.

That is why Jaime lost his hand. Jaime is renowned for his swordplay and his looks. The loss of his hand is the start of his reevaluation of his life.

One of the best warriors in the books is Mance. Sadly, I don't see that coming to be on the show.

Mountain in less then 3 seconds.

I think it would be like Bron's fight against the knight at the Eerie.

Drogo would be faster with no armor. The mountain would be slow and cumbersome in his armor. Just a brute. Even if he did get a hit in I think Drogo is the type to kill hinself to kill his opponent. The Mountain is no doubt stronger tho. That could help him, but I still think Drogo's speed and ferocity gives him the edge. He'd just tire the Mountain out.

Drogo was very quick and flexible with evasive moves in some of the fights against his own commanders.
Doesn't matter. He couldn't hurt the Mountain. Not with his style or weaponry. Think the scene with Jorah in the first season, when he fights in his full plate.

The Mountain that Rides is a completely different animal in comparison.

Ibthink t would be like Bron's fight against the night at the Eerie.

Drogo would be faster and smarter with no armor. The mountain would be slow and cumbersome in his armor. Just a brute. Even if he did get a hit in I think Drogo is the type to kill hinself to kill his opponent. The Mountain is no doubt stronger tho. That could help him.
The Mountain has no honor. :cwink:

I think you are underestimating the force Gregor Clegane is. He is literally capable of killing a man with one punch.
