I just want to know... with the amount of time that baby was left out in the cold, how did it not freeze to death long before the walker even reached that ice table thing? lol

i thought the same thing...That baby was in a small blanket with no other clothes

Anyone see this?

Rick Grimes vs White Walker by Tom Moore

So, assuming R+L=J is true, how exactly is Jon going to sit on the Iron Throne? By my understanding, he becomes Lord Commander of the Night's Watch either at the end of this season or next one, so wouldn't his vows kinda render his entire claim obsolete? Maester Aemon had to turn down the Iron Throne, so wouldn't it be the same for Jon? Maybe there's something introduced later which would mean he could go be king and I haven't got there yet.

Oh my sweet summer child. Just keep on reading.

Many fans have speculated that the Wall will come down. This would make the Night's Watch a defunct order and release everyone from their vows. My own (which I'm sure others have had at one point) is that Dany will ride her dragons north. Their fire will destroy the others and result in the Wall melting.

There's also a legendary horn called the Horn of Winter that "woke giants from the earth". It is speculated that it can bring down the Wall. Mance Rayder believed he found it in the book, but it's been omitted from the show. It is worth mentioning that the cache of dragonglass Ghost found back in season 1/AGOT also contained a horn, which Sam currently has. Some believe this is the Horn of Winter.

But first, finish A Dance with Dragons. Just do NOT read any related articles on A Wiki of Ice and Fire.

I thought this episode was a great blast! I love how they're utilizing the character Locke, the Jon Snow stuff was wonderful, was bored by the Greyworm thing, also loved Barristan teaching Dany.

Those poor Craster's daughters. :( I hope they aren't slaughtered, but gain a new chance at live thru Black Castle or Moletown or whatever. I seriously do hope we still get Coldhands' in this television show.

Loved the ending, love reading peoples' thoughts on it.

Still cant believe that reveal last night! I feel like D&D just turned me into a desperate addict.

D&D, I need more. Come on, just one more hit! It'll be our little secret. George doesnt have to know.

I'm just happy that we got to see a White Walker with a different look.

Generations of inbreeding.

Yeah it was cool so see a different "white walker"

just watched the episode again MAN THAT LAST SCENE IS JUST EFFIN EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to hear that white walker king talk

GRRM has said that The Others have power over ice and cold so I imagine they could keep the baby warm enough to not freeze to death. I wondered about the same thing to be honest.

On another note, it totally made me expect to see a witty wooly mammoth, Sabretooth tiger and sloth come on screen at any time lol

Man that one was epic. Truly great episode. Gonna be so bummed when this season ends already! Wish they would just film everything and release it all at once

For some reason when I saw the ending shot, this was the first thing that crossed my mind

Heh.

To me it looked like a cross between Darth Maul and The Gentlemen from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Damn can't wait to see this about an hour.

Id like to know what Guillermo Del Toro thinks of this show and the White Walkers. The makeup and design seems right up his alley.

Last night's episode was viewed by 6.9 million viewers. That is a new record. 7 million can't be too far away at this point. :)

The Kingslayer Brothers has a nice ring to it... a shame it wasn't meant to be. :o

Dat ****ing ending, tho.

Wow, hopefully next episode.

If the ending is as good as people say I guess most will tune in next week and some might tell a friend.

The female white walker that the Night's King fell in love it must be really... erm... pretty.

Maybe the reason they can't spawn any new ones is because the Night's Watch killed his bride.
