HBO's Game of Thrones - Part 15

There was a moment, and this is no joke, that I was absolutely frightened that they'd show Reek's mutilated genitals onscreen when Ramsay smiled at seeing him naked.

Thank the Old Gods and the New, that they didn't show us.

This. I was terrified of this too, as if we didn't pity the character enough. Ironically, I ended up watching Penny Dreadful afterwards where they did end up showing some guy's genitals. :wow: Clever, HBO, clever.

They show diseased genitals on a tv show called Embarrassing Bodies all the time here in the UK and pass it off as medical entertainment.
That was something that I was kind of dreading as well. Not that they'd show male gentilia, but the kind of mutilation done to Reek was cruel and reprehensible. It was reinforced how awful it is when Ramsay smiled at it and we could see everything else done to make Theon become Reek.

That guy is right up there with Joffery in needing a horrible death on screen. Theon might've been an ******* but the way he was tortured and brainwashed by Ramsay is worse than Joffery's cruder and more blunt abuse.

I wonder what the Selyse/Melisandre scene will be next episode.....SEX????

I did like that scene. Seeing Ramsay show some "affection" for Reek really showed how truly f***ed up Ramsay is.

Since Myranda seems to be among the living, still, (don't open this if you haven't read A Dance with Dragons)
I expect she'll be Roose's fake Arya.

Tansy was supposed to be [blackout] Fake Arya [/blackout] then Yara was supposed to be [blackout] fake Arya [/blackout]. Frankly I don't buy any of the theories. They, all of them basically miss the point of [blackout] Fake Arya [/blackout]. It can't be Myranda or Violet or any of Ramsay's girls because we've seen them to be just as sadistic as he is. And it can't be Yara because that makes no goddamn sense whatsoever given age, appearance and noteriety. The most likely possibility is that it's going to be some random Northern girl from perhaps near Winterfell.

The whole point of that character is to show someone about to go through what Theon went through, someone completely innocent of the depravities and cruelties of the Boltons. You really can't just put any pre-existing character into that role.

Queen's Men dickery.

And hopefully Davos talking about the ****ing Cart before the Horse.

I think Jennifer Lawrence is great but not for GOT.

Was I the only one who fell in love with "Rains of Castamere" alternative version during the final scene/credits?

I don't think I'd want to see any A-list celebs on GOT, really. It would become too distracting.

I loved it too. It sounded very similar to the version that was played at the Red Wedding. Speaking of which, we should be getting season 4 soundtrack news soon.

Yeah i loved it too.

I think Game of Thrones is done catching up with the books by season 6, it depends if Iron islands or Dorne get some cuts or speed ups.

I think book 6 will come before season 6, but if season 6 comes before book 6, things will be super über interesting.

I think the show can tackle most of the important events of A Dance With Dragons by the end of season five, at least the Daenerys, Jon and Tyrion storylines in particular.

Another great episode. Tyrion's speech was fantastic.

I would love for Jennifer Lawrence to be on this show for two reasons, her bewbs.

She'd trip over her prop sword and end up impaling herself. :o

If she was topless, I'm down.

Exactly. I loved the "A Lannister Always Pays His Debts",because it denounces triumph. but the tune in which it was played at the read wedding is more chilling.
