Great episode. The gave us a bit of the ultra-violence. I've been very pleased all season and can't wait for the battle at the wall next week.
Seven ****ing Hells! that was a brutal death, even for GoT. But is The Mountain dead too? cuz it seemed liek it. What does it mean if both of them die in the Trial by Combat? Or is it whoever dies first?
Also is this the best line of the episode (contains massive spoilers BTW)?

I didn't.I missed that line.![]()

Yep, and the guy that directed the Blackwater episode in season 2 is directing the Battle of The Wall too!![]()
Why didn't Oberyn just kill the *****! Now I'm pissed.
Damn, that was way more brutal than I recall when reading it.
I'm surprised at how much I'm loving the Vale stuff, tbh, but I'm wondering where they're planning on going from here, given where they are in the books.
I've gotta admit, I'm honestly not that excited about the Battle of the Wall (more interested in the finale this time, which is a change from previous seasons), but at least with Neil Marshall directing, it should be fun to watch.
Well, when push comes to shove... a book is a book, haha. None of us (I hope) have ever actually seen a head get smashed in. So even when you're reading about it, you can't really picture it all that clearly. On TV... they provide the gruesome for you.

He just wanted a confession that it was Tywin that gave the order and if he got that he probably would have went after Tywin at some point and died anyway.
AND the sound. That sound...*shudders*Well, when push comes to shove... a book is a book, haha. None of us (I hope) have ever actually seen a head get smashed in. So even when you're reading about it, you can't really picture it all that clearly. On TV... they provide the gruesome for you.
